Back in seventh grade we boarded the same train
It was more of a feeling of comfort and warmth than a conscious decision
Little did we know what adventures the future was holding for us
One by one, others entered the train at various stations of our life
Some left again, some stayed
We thought we would never leave the perfect harmony of the train, the journey seemed to take no end
But life had other plans
It broke my heart to see you standing in the door while I descended onto the platform to step into a train I hadn't bought tickets for, turning my back on you

Turning around to wave goodbye merrily to my new life to come running back to you

The snow scrunching beneath our feet and long, yellow grass billowing in the wind
Together gazing up hopefully into the clear blue sky
To reach a place where the cherry blossoms bloom forever and there are no trains to tear us apart
This poem is dedicated to my friend vani_kaio . It was inspired by Spring Day performed by BTS and the accompanying music video. This incredible, beautiful song and the MV never cease to make me emotional and along with this poem, they express exactly how I feel about you. I know we are separated by such a big distance but our friendship is going to persist because we are soulmates. I love you so much!
