Chapter One

Hey guys, I know it took forever to post the second chapter but that's because I was really nervous and didnt know if anyone liked it. But I hope you guys enjoy

Austin

"What the fuck is wrong with you?" She glares with cold eyes. She quickly shuts her mouth when I look up at her. She of all people know that I don't like to be talked to that way. 

"If you're expecting an apology then you may as well go back out there to your parents. I know this doesn't look right but just let me explain-"

"Oh cut the shit. That's my sister not some bitch off the streets that you can run around with and call your fuck buddy. She has feelings-"

"Do you really think that I would hurt her? You of all people know what I am capable of, but I would never lay a finger on Meredith let alone let someone else." This family is really starting to piss me off.

"It doesn't matter it's the principal. That's my sister- you can't like my little sister. That's just not how it works. Whatever little feelings that you think you have for her needs to stop because my father will not hesitate to bury you twenty feet into the ground" Did she just threaten me? Big mistake Isabella. I catch her by surprise and push her back against the wall.

"Did you just threaten me? You of all people should know that I don't take that lightly. Let's get one thing straight-" Her eyes widen when my fingers slip around her neck.

"One-if you ever threaten me again I will kill you. Two I don't give a fuck about what you or your family thinks of me. And three even if your dad did kill me my family is the mafia. You'd be dead before a bullet even penetrated me. Don't take my kindness for granted." I yank my hands from her neck and she falls to the ground gasping for air. I smirk and turn to walk away. It shouldn't take long for her father to call for back up. I hate the idea of leaving Meredith, but if i don't we'll both end up losing our lives. The last thing I need is to have my father bite my ear off about the police arresting me. Especially because he knows about the many cases that have been thrown away from Meredith's father. Can you say dirty cop?

Meredith

I wake to the sound of faint beeping. What happened? My head feels like shit and my throat burns. I peel my eyes open to see that i'm in a hospital room. I look down at my arms and see wires sticking out of my arm. The room is empty and there's only one thing on my mind. Austin. I smile at the thought and then my hear starts to race. What if my father got to him. Were both dead. 

I push myself up when the door opens. A nurse walks in with wavy blonde hair and green eyes. She looks to be in her mid twenties as she smiles at me.

"Hi Meredith. I'm so glad you're finally awake. How are you feeling sweety?" I open my mouth to reply, but nothing comes out. She walks over to get me a cup of water and then hands me the cup. I nod in appreciation and chug it down. Just what I needed.

"Um-thank you." She takes my cup and pours some more water in it. I sip slower this time as she takes my vitals.

"Well your vitals look good. How's the stomach?" I rub my belly and smile. The pain is finally gone.

"Um great thanks, but what was wrong with me?" 

"Oh i'm sorry Hun I couldn't tell you, but the doctor should be in soon." She turns to leave, but i grab her arm.

"I know this is weird to ask, but was there a guy here?" She gives me a weird look before she replies.

"Uh-Not as I know of sorry." Just then my family walks in. This can't be good.

My dad walks in first and scowls at me. Of course he wouldn't run over ad hug me asking if I was okay. He stands at the door glaring at me while my siblings run over and hug me. My stepmom plants a kiss on my cheek and stands beside me.

"Do you have any idea what you almost put this family through?" He squints his eyes at me and I gulp.

"I-I didn't do anything I swear." It barely comes out as a whisper.

"Then why was he in our house?" He yells. Everyone including me jumps and my stepmom takes my brother and sister out of the room. Of course she wouldn't stick up for me. Nobody sticks up for me.

"You are never to see him again."

"But dad-"

"No buts. You aren't allowed to date point blank end of discussion."

"Is that it or is because his family is the mafia?" His eyes widen in horror and in three seconds he's crossed the room and slapped me across the face.

"Don't you ever speak of them ever again!" Tears pour out of my eyes.

"Y-yes sir.

"After the doctor gives us the okay we are leaving and you are to stay in your room. Do you understand me?" I nod and he walks out of the room. When the door closes I don't hold back my sobs. I bury my head in my pillow and cry until my eyes dry up.
