Laurentis
The men burst down the door in search of me. Meredith is a nervous wreck. She won't stop shaking. I can't blame her, when we were kids she never liked the whole dangerous scene.
I want to console her and tell her that everything will be okay, but I can't. I can't risk something going wrong and breaking that promise.
It's a good a thing that I had time to call my right hand man Antonio or I don't know how we would get out of this.
My thoughts are cut short when the men push the desk in front of us out of the way and point their guns in our faces. I put my hands up in surrender letting out a fake sigh of defeat. The more they think they've won the better. Meredith looks up at me asking if I'm serious, I simply nod telling her it's ok, she looks back at the men and put her hands in the air.
There are about twenty men in total surrounding us and everyone one of them are armed. I slowly analyze all of their faces remembering each one individuallly. None of them show any tyoe of emotion.
It's strange that they haven't figured out who I am yet or at least showed any sign of it. No one would be dumb enough to pull a stunt like this. This had to be planned, but by who?
All I know is blood will be shed for this little intrusion. I will personally see to it that no one holds the ability to walk after I'm through.
As I predicted they pat us down. Armatures. They take all the guns from my person and Meredith as well. But they forgot the pocket knife I keep in my left sock. I smirk and one of the men punch's me in the stomach. I spit out blood and laugh menacingly.
"You hit like a bitch." I seethe wiping the blood off my mouth. I get a good look of his face before he punches me again and mumbles something incoherent, just enough for me to catch his accent. Russian. The other two men that attacked us were Russian too...
"Don't you dare touch me. Fuck off!" Meredith screams and pulls at her restraints when one of the men run a hand up her leg. He grips her face and my jaw clenches.
"If you want to live to see tomorrow I'd take your hands off of her" I grit through clenched teeth. The man looks at me and smiles, but I can see right through it.
"That's Dean De Laurentis's son. I'd do as he says." Another man whispers into his ear. The dick that had his hands on Mer glares at his partner and looks at me before pushing Meredith on the ground. I get a great analysis of his face. This must be the leader...I think I'll save him for last.
"I'm not a rag doll asshole." She seethes. I smirk, but quickly mask it with my calm demeanor. Even in the face of danger she still has that vivacious attitude. Another man grips her up from off the floor and drags her out the door she keeps her comments to herself this time.
Soon sacks are thrown over our faces and we're pulled onto the elevator. When we finally reach the first floor they pull us out the building.
I listen in on one of their conversations and notice that they're speaking in Russian. Thats odd we're chained with the only Russian mafia known to man, we have been for the past thirteen years. We've never had an issue before so it can't be them." So who the hell do they work for?"
I don't know but when I find out they won't be above for long. Nobody touches the love of my life and expects to walk away with it.
I sit back in my seat and lean over to make sure Meredith is next to me. Her knee is shaking.
I come up with a quick but idiotic plan, but I know Meredith is going to hate me for bringing it back up after so many years. Her outburst will distract the men long enough for us to get out of here. Plus it'll be funny to hear freak out again.
"Casa sull'albero," I murmur. She tenses up next to me.
"What did you just say?" She breathes out.
"You heard me...tree house."
"Austin De Laurentis, I will kill you and this time I mean it literally -not figuratively. Just sit there and shut up!" She seethes. That's my girl.
"Do you remember what you said to me that night?" I continue.
"Alright that's enough," Leader yells. I hear a gun being taken off safety.
"The only thing I remember is you confessing your love for me. You know after I caught you with that bitch, Bethany Sanchez!" Here we go.
"We weren't making out, she kissed me." I counter getting her even more riled up.
"Yeah and you didn't push her away you a-" Something rams into the side of our vehicle and everything goes black.
Meredith
"Yeah and you didn't push her away you a-"I can't believe that he would bring this up at a time like this. He is such an o-my thoughts and rambling are cut off when something rams into the side of our car making everyone jerk to their left. My head rams into the man next to me and knocks me out cold.

When I finally regain consciousness my head is pounding. Everything around me feels like it's spinning. Wait-I can't see! It's pitch black! I'm blind! I start to freak out when something grabs me and pulls me out of my uncomfortable position."No stop it! I can't see, please!" I beg.
"Meredith it's okay it's just me you're okay now," my vision comes back when something is pulled off my head.
"See. You aren't blind you're fi-." I whimper and wrap my arms around his neck. His hands come around my waist and pulls me close.
Someone clears their throat and we turn to look at them.
"Um...boss I don't mean to interrupt...whatever this is, but we need to go like right now." It's a man around our age. He's tall and looks like he stays in the gym.
"Right. Call someone to clean this up. I want all of them at the warehouse in less than an hour." Austin orders and gestures towards the van that is currently flipped on its side.
"Right away, but we need to go. A bomb has been placed," Bomb?
"Bomb?" I panic and clutch Austin's shirt looking between him any the guu. He winces in pain and throws a cold look the man who delivered the news.
"Sorry." The guy says and walks away taking a call.
Austin hikes me up a bit to get a better grip and walks me over to another vehicle.
"Austin what did he mean when he said there was a bomb?" He opens the car door and buckles me and then slides in next to me.
"It's not that big of a bomb." He knocks on the window and the car starts to move.
We aren't even halfway down the block when a big explosion goes off. I hunch my knees to my chest on instinct and hide my face. The explosion lasts for two minutes and then there's nothing but smoke. I look at Austin and he simply shrugs.
"I said that it wasn't that big, not that it wasn't going to do a lot of damage."
I shake my head and look out the window. Unbelievable. I don't know what the hell he's still involved in, but I don't want any part of it.
