"Geo, I have no idea what to order. What are you getting?" I asked.

"Get a pb and j," he said.

"Is that an actual choice?"

I flipped through the menu. I actually wouldn't mind getting one.

"I don't know and you're not getting it anyway. Close your eyes and think. What are you really, really in the mood for?"

I closed my eye and thought hard. I wasn't in the mood for lunch. I wanted sushi.

"I'm in the mood for a...salad..extra extra ranch."

That was the only lunch food I wanted.

"And there you go. One chicken salad and ribs," he said.

"Ribs aren't a lunch food," I replied.

"Well this place isn't specifically for lunch. You can get a waffle if you wanted," he told me.

"Wait, really?" I asked in that case I'm getting sushi.

"Yeah. Did you not look at the menu?"

"I skimmed it," I said.

"Oh. Yeah that's probably why you couldn't decide what to eat."

I looked through it again and actually looked this time and picked out what I wanted. I was just on time because the waiter had just came back.

"Okay, everything fine here?" The waiter said.

"Perfect," I said and he smiled at me.

"Great. Ready to order?"

"Yes. Can I get the ribs? And she'll have the sushi plate," Geo said. The waiter looked at me like he wanted to confirm so I nodded.

"Okay and for drinks?"

"Two pink lemonades," Geo said and I nodded.

"Okay coming right up," he said and smiled at me again then walked away.

"Damn, you think he can put his yellow ass teeth away?" Geo asked.

"Oh hush Geo. He's just being nice."

"Well he's being extra nice to you," He said.

"He smiled at you too."

"Yeah but he smiled extra big when he saw you. And I know what you like to eat. Why he looking at you to confirm?" Geo asked.

"Because a lot of guys like to order for the girl and that shit be dead wrong. He was just making sure you didn't order something that would make me throw up or something," I said.

"You think I can request a new waiter?"

"Geo," I said resting my hand on his wrist. "Stop being dramatic. It's not that deep."

He kinda just brushed it off and we started to talk about other things.

A couple minutes later the waiter came back with our food and drinks.

"Here you are. One plate of ribs. One sushi plate and two pink lemonades," He said setting down our food.

As he was setting Geo's drink down the plate tipped over and He spilled my lemonade on the table and all over me.

"Oh no. I'm so sorry. I'll get you another one," he said as he started to get it up.

He grabbed a bunch of napkins and handed them to me. He got some more and cleaned the table. When he finished the table he got more napkins and helped me clean myself up.

"I'll be right back with another one. I'm so so sorry," he said.

"It's fine and thanks," I said cleaning the last bit off of me.

He nodded and left.

"So you're telling me you believe that he spilled that on you by accident?"

"Geo," I said rolling my neck.

"I'm just saying. I'm surprised he didn't accidentally spill it on your boobs or something. Help you to the bathroom and suddenly start undressing you," he said.

By that time the waiter came back, "Here is your other lemonade. Again I am so so very sorry that I spilled it on you."

"Thank you and no need to apologize. Please don't worry about it," I said.

"Okay sorry. If you guys need anything else please, just ask," he smiled.

"Naw, we good," Geo said very dismissive like. I looked at him. He was being very rude for no reason. It was a simple mistake.

I'm sorry. I mouthed to the waiter.

No worries. He mouthed back and then smiled at me again.

"Um..okay. You can go now," Geo said.

"Geo," I snapped.

"No, no. It's okay," the waiter said he smiled at me one more time and then walked away.

I just started to eat my food madly. Geo was be so rude.

"Babe," he called and I ignored him.
"Babe," he called.. ignored.
"Babe. I'm sorry. I was supposed to make you smile today and only smile. I don't want to make you feel anything but happiness. Endless amounts of it. I'm so sorry that I ruined this day already. It's been like 20 minutes and I can't even make you happy for that long. What type of boyfriend am I?"

"Geo literally shut up. Have you not been hearing what I've been saying? I love you. You are my everything. You have made me happy today but you have also made me upset. We're not perfect. Far, far from it but I love you. You were just being really fucking rude for no reason. He made a mistake and he smiled. See how simple and harmless that sounds?" I asked.

"Yeah, yeah. I get it. I'm sorry," he replied.

"It's okay. I love you," I said.

"I love you too," he said.

I looked at him. He was an incredibly handsome man. Beautiful big brown eyes. Perfect hair and a smile that was nothing less than perfect, yet he was insecure about it. I will never understand why. It's beautiful. His skin is clear. His body is beautiful. He is beautiful.

He looked up from his plate, "Why are you looking at me like that?"

"I don't know," I said looking at my plate. I continued to eat.

The rest of lunch consisted of us talking and laughing, then we got in the car and headed somewhere else.
