Chapter 21

[Alli's POV]

Today I was seven months pregnant! We had a doctors appointment today. "Charles!" I yelled. No answer. "CHARLES!" I yelled louder. Where the fuck was he? I rushed into the kitchen. Charles was sitting on the floor curled up into a ball. "Char! Are you okay?" I asked, sitting down next to him. "I...I feel like it's gonna happen." He replied. "What? What's gonna happen?" I pressed, tears in my eyes. What was happening? "Seizure." He responded. "Okay, okay, it's okay Charles." I repeated. He curled himself up even tighter and began mumbling to himself. At first I couldn't make it out, but eventually I heard it: "no no no no no no..." He kept repeating no. I was confused, but then it clicked. He was trying to keep himself from seizing. I hugged him tightly and whispered words of encouragement. Finally he uncurled himself. He was breathing heavily and was drenched in sweat. "Are you okay?" I asked. "Yeah." He replied. "I don't even know what just happened." He mumbled. "Neither do I." I exclaimed. "How did you do that, stopping your seizure?" I asked gently. "I thought about you and Angela and Quentin and our family and the CTFxC and all our friends." He replied. "I thought about how if I didn't seize then in three months I could drive again." He continued, more composed now. "You are fucking amazing." I said. I hugged him despite the sweatiness. "I love you so much." He said in his normal Charles voice. "I love you too." I replied. He changed clothes and we headed to the doctors. I laid down on the table for the ultrasound. As the doctor moved the ultrasound thing around on my stomach, her expression turned confused. "What is it?" I asked. "Let me see." She replied. She called another doctor in, and then another. They all looked at the screen and talked amongst themselves. I tried to hear what they were saying, but no luck. Finally the other doctors left and the first doctor turned to face us. "It seems that you are expecting a third baby, growing on the outside of your stomach lining." She said. What? How? I didn't get it. "You have triplets. But one of them is attached to your  stomach lining." She repeated. "Are..um...they going to be okay?" I asked, tears in my eyes. "We will have to deliver the two babies in the womb today, and perform a cesearan section to deliver the baby growing outside the uterus." She told us. It was a shock. "The baby growing outside the womb has a low chance of survival, the two babies in the womb have higher chances."  She said solemly. I began to cry. What if my babies didn't live? The next hour was a blur. I soon found myself in the hospital with pitocin going into me through an IV to start labor. I was only 28 weeks pregnant and I would be giving birth. Today. We decided to turn on the camera. "Hello internet!" Charles said before setting the camera down and moving it so we were both in the frame. "So today we found out that we are expecting triplets, but one of the babies is growing outside my uterus, on the outside of my stomach lining. I am getting IV pitocin to induce labor right now and Angela and Quentin will be born. After that I am getting a c-section to remove the other baby from my stomach lining." I explained, ignoring the tears streaming down my face. "We can do this honey." Charles said, hugging and kissing me. We told the internet about Charles' whole stopping-his-seizure thing and then shut the camera off. "Do you think it will be okay?" I asked Charles, wiping my tear-stained cheeks. He nodded and leaned over to hug me. We stayed in that hug for a long time. All we could do now was hope. Hope that everything would turn out in the end. Charles uploaded the vlog and tons of tweets and comments came in, supporting us and our babies, giving us hope that we could do this, no matter how low the chances of survival were, know matter what any doctor said. We could do this. I could do this. The babies could do this. Charles could do this. The CTFxC could do this. Suddenly I felt a sharp pain in my stomach...
