Chapter 9: mother calls

Annalise's POV:

I was doing the finishing touches to my make up for the ball , I curled my hair , I was wearing the dress that Kol gave me, it was white with lacey  I really love this dress but still can't figure out why kol gave it to me, I put my heals on and was ready to go. I walked down the stairs to see my two brothers. I decided to make fun like we used too.

" hello brothers " I smiled and they looked up and there mouths dropped. They looked like they were about to cry. " what is it ? Does it look bad " I looked at them with confusion.

" That dress used to look like the one you wore back in 1864" Stephen replied softly. Damon smiled.

" he's right I haven't seen that Annalise in a very long time " I looked down I felt terrible I made them upset

" I'm sorry " I said looking down. The both of them grabbed my hands.

" hey no you look beautiful, we are all together now that's all that matters " Stephen replied  I smiled , we got into the car and drove to the mikealson mansion it was kind of far maybe because it was on the border of mystic falls. We soon pulled up at the mansion It was so big and beautiful we got out of the car and walked inside and everyone looked amazing. I was so surprised in how beautiful everything was. I heard Damon speak.

" what is she doing here"  I turned around and looked at who he was staring at, it was Elana, I looked at both my brothers and they had the same expressions on when they met Katherine and I got really protective and annoyed " you shouldn't be here" Damon said to her, she rolled her eyes. I don't like this girl.

" I know but Esther wants to meet me" she replied , Who is Ester and why would she want too meet Elana .

" who doesn't want to meet you " I said outloud in a bitchy tone, wait why did I do that I wondered around and  I saw Rebecca. She smiled and I walked over to her. Thank goodness to get out of that yuck love triangle.

" you came " she sounded excitedly and gave me a hug.

" I couldn't miss it I haven't been to. Ball in forever " i was  giggling. I heard Elana speak.

" what's her problem" she was looking at me, I looked at her, she immediately looked away because she realised I had vampire hearing.

" I don't like her either " Rebekah saw and looked  me. Glad I am not the only one. Alot seems to be all about her and she doesn't know it. She has Stephen in love with her and Damon trying to have that love you can just tell. It's heart breaking to see that all over again.

" me either she looks like Katherine" I said giving her the evils.

" mother wanted to meet her I have no idea why but she does" she  grabed a wine for me from a waiter , I thanked her and looked across the room, everyone was dressed beautifully.

" I love your home Rebekah  it's beautiful"She smiled at me and then looked behind me. She giggled.

" I think you have caught someone's eye" I looked behind me, there stood kol staring at me, he was wearing a suit and he looked so handsome but he doesn't need to know that. My gaze was interrupted.

" you should dance with him " Rebekah said  and I looked at her surprised.

" Are you sure" I asked a little nervous , she laughed

" yes why would I care . now go I'll find Matt" she smiled, I laughed and walked up to kol. He looked at me and started to grin.

" glad you could make it baby Salvator and wearing the dress I gave you " he smiled  eyeing me up and down.

"I couldn't waist a beautiful dress like this especially if it was given to me" i replied back  walking closer to him. I think we are flirting.

" it's not the dress that's beautiful darling.. it's you" he got closer to me  I never realised how close we were till now. I couldn't stop staring into his eyes I was lost in them he wasn't compelling me but I was entranced. Why do I feel like this and where did his sudden charm come from.

" dance with me ?" He said with a smile, I nodded and he took my hand kissed it and led me to the dance floor. He held my waist and I put my arms around his neck. I heard my brothers and Elena talking.

" are you two okay with your sister dancing with kol" Elena said staring.

" no but let her have this night she has been running for 100 and whatever years, she needs this and that look on her face right now is happiness" Damon said to her. I smiled knowing that my brothers care for me so much.

" your brothers really love you" kol must if heard too, I looked at him and he looked me.

" yeah I really missed them, I still can't believe we are together  again I thought they were gone " I replied looking at them, I saw Elena leave the boys and go up stairs. Kol looked at me and then looked in the direction I was looking in.

" mother calls" he said and we kept dancing under the beautiful chandelier.
