Chapter•1

3rd person POV:
Jughead Jones was a person of few words. When he did speak it was to defend himself or to his three friends, Archie, Veronica, and Kevin. On Monday Archie asked "Hey Jug, there is this new girl, and I'm supposed to give her a tour tomorrow, but I can't so..." "You where wondering if I could." Jughead stated. "Would you please I know I will owe you but please?" "Fine and you owe me big time." Then the bell rang which means lunch was over.

Betty Cooper was the perfect girl at her old school all the guys wanted to be her boyfriend. She didn't really have friends to tell secrets to, but she was popular. She hated being popular. On the inside she was alone. She hopes moving to this new school she can have actual friends.

Tuesday Morning in the Office Betty's POV:
I was standing in the office waiting for a Archie Andrews. "Your the new girl right?" I heard from behind me, so I turned around. When I saw him he was hot then I snapped myself out if my thoughts. "Yes I'm Betty Cooper. Are you Archie Andrews?" He let out a light chuckle. "No he asked me to fill in for him. I'm Jughead Jones." We started walking out the door. We made jokes and ended up giving each other the nicknames Betts and Juggie. "You should eat lunch with my friends and I." I pretended to think. "Sure but where is the lunch room?" "Well we have this class together, and you can sit by me then we'll walk to lunch together." "Sounds good to me." We sat in class.

Jughead's POV:
I like her already and we just met, but I got butterflies the second I saw her. When she said she would hand out with my friends and I, I was ecstatic. We partnered for the science project so we are going to eat at Pop's after school. Class was fun today because I had Betts beside me. We where walking to lunch and making jokes. We sat down at the table with Arch, Kev, and Ronni. "Hey guys this is Betty Cooper. Betts this is Kevin, Archie, and Veronica." "It's nice to meet you guys." She smiled at them. "You are beautiful, Kev and I are going shopping at 4:30 you should totes come!" "I could if that's ok with you Juggie I mean we can work on the project till 4:20 then I can meet with them." I was happy she thought of me. "Yeah that will be fine. Wait where do you live?" She thought for a minute. "Umm...I think it was 1012 Walnut St." I laughed. "You live right between Arch and I and a cross from Kev." "Wow such a small town but then if you and I become good friends we can have rom-com marathons!" Kevin exclaimed.

Betty's POV:
"Please don't think I'm rude but are you..." "Gay is Kevin gay. Yes he definitely is." Jughead said. "Hey Andrews!" We heard a buff guy yell from across the room. "Hey Reg." Archie yelled as he walked over. "Who is that?" "Reggie Mantle the Co.Captain of the football team." Veronica said. "Oh I thought it was the school jerk but ok." "Oh he is that too." She said. We all laughed.

After School at Pop's

"Jug you're so much fun to hang out with why do you get bullied by Reggie?" "How did you figure out Reggie bullies me?" "When you saw him you had a look if hate." "You got me I am unliked at school. We got carried away laughing and talking. Then I got a text.

V: come on lover girl
B: coming

"Hey Juggie I gotta go. See you tomorrow." "Yeah, Betty do you wanna walk to school with me tomorrow?" "I would be delighted." Then I leaned down and kissed his cheek then headed out side.
