soooo this week was pretty busy for soccer this weekend i suppose. i didn't appreciate it though how bayern, schalke and dortmund all played at the same time. i had the bayern game on my tv and then two streams on my laptop for bvb and schalke. let's start with bayern:
now i know they won the game 5-2, which is a big margin, but the didn't look good in the first half. the commentator on fox sports even said that "every one of the bayern players looks hungover," which was a good description. idk if they thought it was going to be an easy game so they didn't have to try until halftime, but the first 45 minutes were ugly.
also sandro wagner scores this really odd goal with his hip - but it was against his former team so that was cool!!!

bvb also played and they drew 2-2 i believe. i watched this game until they took pulisic out because i'm a typical american pulisic fan i suppose 😂 i really want them to do well, but dang they've been struggling as of late. it also didn't help that freiburg scored a possible goal of the year against them. it was waaaaaaay out there. oh, and shinji scored, so congrats to him!!
the main game i watched though out of these three was the schalke match against stuttgart. i was interested to see how leon would play seeing he didn't do so hot last week :( he drew a penalty for schalke though so i hope the fans were happy about that! Harit took it (who i love so much) and leon was one of the first people to congratulate him!! i'm also really living for this harit/meyer friendship that is starting to blossom - if max does renew his contract with schalke, i can't wait for more harit/meyer insta stories 🤗

then the last game i watched was the freaking liverpool game which SUCKED. liverpool didn't play so hot, and lost 2-3 to WEST BROM. WEST BROM I TELL YOU. it was a pretty big upset, and the officials consulting VAR every ten seconds didn't help either 🙄 they need to get their act together, because i'm sure leon isn't too upset about not joining their team now 😂
man city is playing rn and is up 2-0 so i'm hoping they win. oh, and then later barca and the goat messi play later and i'm sure they'll win 🤗 i really can't deal with any more upsets this weekend 🙁 have a good day!!
