sad times are upon us my friends
as i'm typing this, russia is up 3-0 against egypt. i'm a huge mo salah fan and i just feel so bad for him and the entire Egyptian team in general.
the egypt manager is gonna get so much flack now for not playing salah in the first match, but who would've known?
also colombia lost, along with one of their players getting a red card in like the third minute of the match. wtffffff.
also those subs were whack. first they took off cuadrado, put Quintero in his place, he scored a goal, then they took him off for james!!
i cheered for colombia bc i love james + my ex bf is a huge japan fan so i like to cheer against them bc i'm still salty af. but i love shinji so i'm glad that he scored 💓
and poland 😫 i didn't expect them to lose to senegal, but i think i underestimated them. i forgot they had sadio mane, one of my fave liverpool players!! they looked really sharp, so i was happy for them!!
although every team i've cheered for this tournament so far has lost or tied, so i think i'm the problem—i'm cursed 😅
