They were born like this after their as they were meant to be twins but ended up getting fused in the womb. Min was meant to be Pegasus while Min meant to be a unicorn. Although Min is somewhat blinded during an accident so she can't see so Ni-Ni is her eyes during times when their flying. Ni-Ni has a hard time hearing so Min is her ears whenever talking to others or when in dangers.
They're also quite different as well. Ni-Ni is quite calm and kind while Min has sometimes a bad adittude or harsh when ever angered. Although Min doesn't really notice this so Ni-Ni calms her down if she was about to harm someone.
How they gotten their cutie mark as they acted like the Ying-Yang during an almost village fight which would harm both them and their lands. So they helped out as representing the balance between the bad and the good showing they mad to get pass their differences and get along saying their the balance between eachother.
