Scene One (5SOS & R5)

Ellington's POV

"Hey, Tati, haven't seen you for a while," I say as I embrace my cousin whom I haven't seen for a while. She lives here in Wisconsin, near the Green Bay Area. She's a bit shy when you first meet her but she opens up after a while.

"Yeah, Ell, haven't seen you since nana literally fell off her rocker." We chuckle at the thought of nana falling, a memory we will forever laugh at.

"We should go to Culver's," I suggest.

"Maybe we could bring the rest of the band. I heard they've never had cheese curds. Or maybe we could bring them to the Cheese Castle."

"Hey guys, me and Tati are going to Culver's, anyone wanna come?" I ask the tour bus.

"What's Culver's?" Asks Ross, just as a bead of sweat escapes from his hair and rolls down the side of his cheek.

I exchange looks with Tati and grab my jacket. "It's bomb-tastic." Tati laughs at my lame jokes, but I'll get her back later. Everyone from the band joins us on our way to Culver's, asking what it is.

"It's a Wisconsin thing," Tati says to the crowd of Lynches surrounding us. We finally arrive and order our food, Tatianna getting the usual grilled cod dinner, and me getting a sourdough patty melt. Together, we order four orders of cheese curds and sit down in a corner booth, waiting for the order to arrive at the table.

"Tati, can I ask you something?"

"You just did." I hate when she gets sarcastic. "But, sure, go ahead."

"Wanna come to LA with us?"

"What?" She asks, clearly surprised by the question.

"I feel like we need to catch up on things, and we can't do it in just a few hours."

"Maybe my mom will let me after I graduate." I forgot she was graduating in just a week.

"That'll be fine with us, we won't be back in LA for a few weeks anyway," I tell her, hoping she'll agree.

"Fine," she says as she lets out a long sigh, "I'll see what I can do."
