10 minutes later, we arrived at my house. Both cars that are usually parked in the driveway are missing. Maybe they were called into work. Maybe they had plans that I didn't know about.

I walk up to the front patio and my fingers fumble with my keys. I let myelf in and I jog upstairs as I hear Liam shut the front door. As I open my bedroom door, I notice how untidy it is and thank God that Liam stayed downstairs. I quickly throw on my neon string bikini and grab my black high-waisted shorts. I slip my flip flops on and head downstairs.

I pull my hair up into a bun at the top of my head to rpevent me from getting to hot out on the water. I walk downstairs, phone in my hand, I see Liam standing with his back against the front door, waiting patiently for me.

"You look beautiful, like always." he compliments me as I walk over to him. I lean into him and give him a quick peck on the lips. He smiles and we head for the garage to get our surfboards. He lays the tailgate down and puts his board on the bed of the truck before taking mine from my hands and laying it on top of his board. We leave my house and headfor Jacob's.

When we arrive at Jacob's house, the clock on the radio says 11:30. I hope he's up, but I doubt it. There are no cars parked in his driveway, so I assume his parents are at work.

I walk up to the door and I turn the knob. The door pops open and I look back at Liam with a surprised expression on my face. I walk in and round the corner to get to Jacob's room. His door is shut, like usual, and I turn the knob on the door. It's surpisingly unlocked also. I walk in, and just as I assumed he is in a deep slumber with drool dripping from his open mouth, his right arm draped over the side of the bed, and his body is sprawled out on his small bed. I quietly laugh at the way he sleeps.

I turn to Liam and tell him to walk back out of the room as I follow him. He looks at me with a confused expression on his face.

"Keep an eye on him.. Make sure he doesn't wake up." I command him. He nods his head and I head for the kitchen. I open the cabinet and find a plastic pitcher. I put crushed ice into the pitcher and then fill the pitcher all the way to the top with water.

I cautiously walk back towards Liam. He laughs quietly as he understands my plan. I walk over to Jacob, who is oblivious to what is about to happen to him. I pour the ice water onto Jacob's face and he wakes up immediately, kicking and flailing his arms and legs.

"What the hell Hailee?!!? I was gonna get up. What time is it anyway?" He shouts as I am rolling on the floor laughing at him.

"It's 12:30 Jacob. You were supposed to be up and ready by 12. And were you? No of course you weren't." I say still laughng. He sighs and stretches. He shoos me and Liam out of his room and then shuts the door so he can change. Liam high fives me and gives me a thumbs up. I think the outcome of my prank was funnier than I expected.

5 minutes later, Jacob walked out of his room, not fully awake but dressed in his bathing suit and a plain red Hollister shirt to cover his chest. Liam and I have stopped laughing by now and we head for the truck. Jacob went out the back door to grab his board and met us at the truck. He put it in the bed of the truck, on top of mine and Liam's. We piled in the truck, Jaocb in the back behind Liam and me in the front seat next to Liam.

The 30 minute ride to Miami Beach consisted of talking and laughing with one another. I am glad that Jacob and Liam get along so well because if they didn't, my life would consist of many decisions between hanging out with which one first.
