Hailee's POV

Eleanor.

I must be hallucinating, but I know I'm not. I look around me to fnd no one even near me. Now everyone decides to suddenly clear out of the building?! I look back down the hallway to find her still standing there. I hesitate before walking down the hallway to meet her.

"What are you doing here?" I whisper shout. She leans against the wall and examines me from head to toe.

"Just came to make sure you were okay." She says quietly and stares blankly at the wall behind me, not meeting my eyes. Her bright auburn hair makes her pale skin look even more pale.

"I'm not okay, Eleanor. Do you see me?! Do you see Liam?! I'm hurt and I'm tired! Why did he choose me?! WHY?!" I scream, tears forming in the corners of my eyes. I wipe furiously at my eyes before any tears can fall down my face.

"I know, I know. Come here." She says opening her arms. I walk into them without even thinking and she wraps her arms tightly around my back. She's slightly shorter than me but not by much. Her shoulder smells of a faint perfume and I take a deep breath in, exhaling slowly.

She lets go of me all of a sudden and looks me right in the eyes. "I have to go. I'l see you later."

"Wait. What? Why all of a sud-" And just like that she disappeared. I hate when she does that! She just appears and disappears whenever she wants without any warning!

I decide to walk back to Liam's room after a few minutes.

I walk through the door to find about 10 nurses gathered around Liam. I gasp and rush into the room.

"What happened?! What's going on!?" I scream. No one seems to notice me. I move past the nurses to see what is going on. Liam's eyes are shut, his breathing is very shallow. His heart monitor is racing.

"Someone talk to me! Tell me what's going on!" I demand but everyone in the room doesn't seem to notice I'm even there. I'm invisible.

"Liam! Baby! Wake up! Please!" I sob and shake his shoulders. His body is limp in my hands and I sob harder. This can't be happening!

"He's dying!" I hear a nurse shout. "We gotta get him to the doctor, STAT!" I hear another. They start to wheel Liam's bed out of the room and I stay next to the bed, squeezing Liam's hand.

All the nurses rush out of the room, breaking my grip from Liam's hand. "No! I have to go with him! I have to stay with him!" I scream and push past the nurses to get to the bed. I try to grab hold of Liam's hand again but they keep fast-walking through the halls and I can't seem to keep up.

"Wait! Slow down!" I scream, jogging after the group of nurses.

"Hailee."   I hear a male voice say. What? I'm just hallucinating. I didn't really hear that.

I run to the front desk where an older woman sits in a chair on wheels behind a desk. "Ma'am?! Where are they taking him?!" I scream.

"Calm down, please." She says, calmly. Too calmly.

"MY BOYFRIEND IS DYING AND YOU'RE TELLING ME TO CALM DOWN?!? ARE YOU SERIOUS?!" I shout at her and her eyes widen, looking behind me. My heart stops and I'm too scared to turn around and look at what's behind me. I slowly turn around and I find myself staring into the  piercing green eyes of the last person I ever wanted to see.

Adam.

I shake my head and his large hand grabs hold of my arm. I can already feel the bruise forming from his tight grip as he drags me away from the older lady.

"NO! Call the police! He's a murder! PLEASE!" I scream at the woman. She just stands there, watching him drag me down the hallway. Adam turns his head at the last minute and I see the lady nod her head, ever so slightly. Did she just nod at him? What the hell?!

Adam grunts and drags me out of the hospital's entrance. The parking lot is a ghost town. There is no one around, no one to stop him from taking me again. I can't let this happen again. I've barely recovered from the first time!

"What do you want from me?! Why do you keep finding me!?" I say and struggle to break from his tight grip on my arms. He doesn't answer me, just keeps dragging me behind him not bothering to stop.

When we arrive at his car, he takes duct tape fom his leather jacket pocket and wraps my hands up. The tape is wrapped too tightly around my hands. Is he trying to cut off my circulation?

"It's too tight." I say.

"You'll be fine." He says flatly. He opens the back door. "Get in." He demands and I shake my head.

"No." I say and plant my feet on the ground.

"What'd you just say?" He says and grab my ponytail bringing my face close to his, too close.

"I said no." I say through my gritted teeth. He narrows his eyes at me and the next time I blink, his fist connects with the right cheek. I cry out in pain and bring my taped hands to my cheek. A tear rolls down my cheek.

"Now. Get in the car." He says and I obediently get in the backseat. He slams the car door and I jump from the sound ringing through the small space.

He climbs into the driver seat and starts the engine quickly. As soon as it starts, he puts the car in drive and peels out of the parking lot. We turn onto the highway and he goes way over the speed limit. I slide side to side in the backseat as he weaves in and out of the cars around us.

"Where are you taking me?" I ask, quietly.

He doesn't look at me or anything but I can hear the smirk on his face.

"Somewhere you won't be found."
