(Hi guys. Happy (Early) Thanksgiving! You all are probably mad at me for making you wait this long, but writing the end of this story has been really hard because I want to make it good for you guys! There will only be two more chapters and at the end of Chapter 25, there will be an Epilogue. Soooooo, again I'm sorry but I hope you guys like this chapter and if so, feel free to leave a comment and vote!)

Liam's POV

I've been laying in this quiet room for too long. How long have I actually been in here? What if I've been in here too long to stop Adam from killing Hailee? What am I going to do? How am I going to get out of here? I've tried to scream for help but what I can hear is myself mumbling incoherently. I need to wait just a little longer and I'll be able to try to escape this damn place.

I hear a door creak open slowly like someone is sneaking in here. What the hell?

I lay completely still, too afraid of who is in here. All of a sudden the room becomes cold. I feel goosebumps raise on my skin and I move to rub my arms up and down but can't. This medicine needs to wear off soon.

"I'm going to get you out of here," a woman's voice whispers in my ear. If I could, I would've jumped off the table at the sound of her voice. It's unfamiliar.

I feel cold hands wrap around my shoulders and I'm sat up. My body slumps over itself and I can't keep my head up. I feel the hands again behind my neck and on my bare chest holding my body upright. Then I hear a distant sound, but as it gets closer its easier to identify; footsteps.

The woman lays me back down and seems to walk away. "Come back," I try to say but it comes out as gibberish. The door flies open. A woman and a male talk quietly, as if what they're talking about was top secret.

"What if the medicine wears off?" The new female voice says quietly.

"I don't know." The male voice responds with a whisper and a sigh.

I can't hear what else they're saying and then a loud siren goes off in the room, echoing as the sound bounces off the walls. Someone pulled the fire alarm? I hear running footsteps leave the room and the doors of the room slam shut.

"Help me!" I try to scream but my mouth isn't functioning. I try to roll off the table but my body doesn't move an inch.

Cold hands touch my skin again, pulling me into a set of arms that I'm guessing belong to the hands since they're the same temperature.

"It's okay. Everything is okay," the familiar but unfamiliar woman's quiet, calm voice says. I try nodding my head in acknowledgement but just like the rest of my body, it doesn't move.

My body fights the urge to fall asleep, since I haven't slept since before Hailee arrived to see me yesterday. Was that yesterday? I've lost track of what day it is.

My mind slows and my body calms itself, forcing me to fall asleep.

--

The Florida heat engulfs me and my eyes shoot open. Where the hell am I? Outside? Huh?

I look around and a pale woman with auburn hair is sitting a few feet away from me. I gasp and back away. "Who are you?"

"Eleanor. I've been trying to help Hailee get away from Adam but instead here I am helping you." She says and glances away from me. Wait, she's been helping Hailee?!

"You've been helping Hailee? You know where she is?" I ask, panic clear in my voice. My heart leaps at the thought of finding her.

Eleanor nods and I notice something about her. She's not just pale, but she's transparent. Is she even human? Did you just ask that question, Liam? Does she look human?!

"Okay, so what do we do?" I ask. Eleanor looks back at me and she sits upright. She's thinking and I honestly wonder how she got me out of the hospital.

"Well, we are not doing anything. This is all your job," she says and pushes her index finger against my chest. I look at her confused.

"What do you mean it's my job?" I'm not freaking Superman. Unfortunately.

"Oh, yeah, because me being a ghost and helping you talk to the police isn't absurd." She rolls her eyes and I chew on my bottom lip.

"You're right," I hum. "Well, what if you just tell me where I can find her and then I'll go to the police with the information?"

"That could work." She tilts her head to the side in thought. "Alright, let's do it."

She gives me the location of a building that doesn't even have an address. I question her about it, but she reassures me that the police will be able to find it.

"Good luck," she says as I'm walking towards my car, which is parked in front of the grass. Did she drive my car? I guess the world may never know?

I go over what I'm going to say to the police. My girlfriend was kidnapped by a man who is also my uncle and she's held captive in a house at this location that a ghost gave me because she's been helping her. Wow, Liam, they'll totally believe everything you're saying. I groan.

--

"So, you're telling me you know she's in this house without any proof of knowing?" The deputy asks, skeptically.

"Look, I know it sounds crazy, but I know she's there," I try to persuade him. He nods and stands up from his desk.

"Alright, boy, I guess we'll take a look. You mind comin' with us?" I answer with a yes and follow the man out of the police station. The deputy finds a companion, a woman who looks tough as hell, and tells me to follow him to the location.

As we drive, I wonder why Adam would take Hailee in the first place. Does he have something against me? Her family? Why wouldn't he take me, instead?

I run my fingers through my hair and let out a frustrated groan. I pray to God that Eleanor gave us the right location. I pray to God that Hailee is okay and that she's here.

I'm coming for you, Hailee.
