(No, not an anime but I put this up there with Avatar the last air bender SO IM COUNTING IT IN)
So there is this small boy named Omi who is a Xiaolin monk or... training to be one..(idk it's been six years since I last watched this). So he lives in the China temple with his trainer. Omi's trainer then gives him the dream of being a Xiaolin dragon (basically means you are the shit, like a all powerful monk) Omi wants to achieve this dream, but doesn't realize he's not the only one going after it. That's where he meets Kimiko (from Japan), Raimundo (from Brazil), and Clay (from America), they basically all are training to get higher levels in there monk practice. (This is where things get interesting) There are theses things called Shen Gong Wu which are mystical objects with powers that balance the forces of good and evil. There job is to cooperate with each other and collect these hidden objects around the world and to not let it fall into the wrong hands, but it's really hard when a boy named Jack Spicer is after them to.
This show is truly a hidden gem and is rarely ever talked about. I never remember it airing cause I was literally one when it came out, but my sisters remember it and we all decided to rewatch together. This show might seem complicated, but if you watch it then you'll get the hang of it real fast (and that's saying something coming from me, who can't do complicated shows for shit). Please don't let this turn you away cause it's not a anime or because it's old. The plot is very incredible and I wish there was more cartoons like these nowadays.
