Waking up from my nap the next day to my dad banging on my door and telling me to get up, I was forced to get out of bed and take a warm shower and brush my teeth. Looking in the mirror I saw myself, a 16 about to be 17 year old with wavy dark brown hair, blue green eyes, plum lips, an okay body and about five foot girl staring at herself talking in her mind while pointing a finger at herself.

"Blake Stirling, now is your time to go to New York and start new, have a clean plate, make friends, and go to the college I want to go to, to have my family by my side and who knows maybe I'll even meet a guy."

I wasn't much of a girl to get a boyfriend, much less any guys attention. The only relationship I've been in was with my cozens friend in the next town over, and all we did was hold hands and hug when we could see each other and it wasn't that often. He was kind of on the dirty side of the triangle and never brush his teeth and take showers. so I left him, because who would want to kiss someone with a nasty mouth. He was heart broken and I was alone again with no friends.

Now here I am walking out of the bathroom and into my room that I would be never walk into again and grabbed my two suit cases walking down the stairs in suit with my little brother.

"I'm so not ready for this plane ride" River whined

"I just ready to be in New York" I told him while reaching the bottom of the stairs and walking to the car putting our suitcases in the back of the car.

"you know, I'm going to miss all my friends here." River murmured looking up at me with sad eyes.

"I know you are River but you'll find better friends in New York"

"But that's the thing, I don't want new friends I like the ones I got."

"They weren't your real friends to you anyway. They liked being your friend because they knew that our family is indeed very wealthy.:" I told him while walking inside with him in toe and into the kitchen.

Unlike my little brother I didn't have friends, not even one. I was that girl that always got picked on because I was to smart for them or for being to serious about my school work to get into NYU. It didn't bother me if I did or didn't have friends. I just knew that I was going to start new and maybe have a friend or two.

While in the kitchen I saw my mom looking out the kitchen window above the sink drinking her morning coffee.

"Hey mom, me and River put our bags in the car. I think we're ready to go."

"okay sweetheart, just give me a minute."

"you okay mom?" River asked while I looked at him then to her.

"I'm going to miss this place" she said while turning to look at me and River "we had so many memory's here, from when you took your first steps and wanted to go down the stairs to when you cut down the side of your ribs from when your father was throwing you up in the air and his fingers slipped and you skid down the corner of the island of the kitchen and we had to take you to go get stitches. Your father was so scared. Then we had you," she said while poking Rivers nose " and when he started walking he fell down the stairs but he was laughing the whole way down. There was this one time when you two had disappeared for awhile so me and your father went looking for ya'll, it took us about twenty minutes until we found ya'll. you want to know where we found ya'll?" she asked with an amused look on her face.

"we're were we?" me and River asked at the same time

"Ya'll were in the bathroom. you were telling your brother to be quiet and to hold still so that you could tie a string around his tooth and help him pull out his first tooth. you tied it to the door knob and then opened the door. your brother looked up and saw me then your dad standing on the other side of the door, and then he told you to "do it". At first I was confused but then I saw the string on his tooth, hanging out of his mouth." she said while pointing a finger at her mouth "and then you slammed the door shut, so I hurried to open the door because he made a whimper sound and he was standing there holding his mouth in one hand and the tooth in the other." she said while shaking her head.

"that's great" River said laughing

"oh that's no all, there's lots more like when ya'll were watching ya'lls first scary movie together and me and your father decided to scare ya'll. Your brother got up and ran while you stood up and peed your pants and cried. There's a lot of memory's here and feels like we're just leaving it all behind." She looked down at here coffee cup then out the kitchen window again. When she looked up again you could she that she had glossy eyes.

"Mom don't cry, it's going to be okay. We can make more memory's at the new house." I said while grabbing her in a hug and hugging her tight.

"I know sweetheart" my mom said while kissing my head.

"Hey honey have you seen my-" dad stopped in mid-sentence and hurried to comport my mom while she sobbed so I backed away and let my dad do it.

My dad was always good at comporting my mom when she got emotional. You could always see the love and care he had for her. I'd hope to be like my parents, how there love is everlasting and never ending, and how they'd do anything for each other, just to make each other happy.

My mom has always been beautiful even when she cried with her caramel eyes and brown spiraled hair that went mid-back. Skinny body with the perfect curves and how she could wear anything and make it work. she was about five four in height.

My dad isn't that ugly either, for an older man he looked pretty good with his dark brown hair always combed back, semi-muscular body, squared jaw, baby blue eyes and tall six foot frame.

"Are you okay honey?" my dad asked with one hand on her shoulder and the other on her cheek.

"I'm fine baby." she says while going to give him a hug. " I was just telling Blake and River about all the memory's in this house."

"Oh, there's a lot of those" he said with a chuckle. "But your alright?' he asked going back to concern. While he pulled my mom away from there long hug and he whipped her tears away.

"I'll be okay"

"okay" was what he said with a kiss on the forehead

"alright well lets hit the road' my dad said enthusiastically. And with that said we all got in the car and dad drove to the airport. here we go I said to myself.
