“Welcome to New Jersey,” Jeremy smiled at Evan.
“Th-thank you, Jeremy,” Evan smiled back shyly. “It’s, um, very nice...l-lots of trees.”
Jeremy giggled a little. “You weren’t kidding about loving trees.”
Evan blushed.
“Stop messing with my boyfriend and let us in,” Jared rolled his eyes.
“Jared,” Michael gave him a warning glare.
“Please?”
Jeremy raised an eyebrow and let the three people at the door in.
Squip looked up at the newcomers, recognizing only Michael.
“Heya, Squip,” Michael smiled at said person and hugged him.
“Hey, Michael,” Squip hugged him back. “Are these Jared and Evan?”
Michael looked back at his cousin and his friend and nodded. “The one with glasses is-”
“Jared, right?” Squip guessed.
“Whoa, how’d you know?” Jared asked.
“I just guessed that glasses run in the family.”
“You’re clever.”
“Well, I am a super quantum unit intel processor,” Squip shrugged and turned to the kid with the blue striped shirt. “So, that must mean you’re Evan.”
“Yup, th-that’s me,” Evan waved. “Nice t-to finally, uh, meet you.”
“I know,” Squip squealed. “After all this time of chatting, we’re finally meeting in person.”
“R-right? I-I wish we, uh, d-didn’t live so far a-away from, um, e-each other.”
“Well, get over here,” Squip beamed and pat the empty seat next to him on the couch.

With conversations roaring, everyone was having a good time. However, something seemed to be bothering Christine.
“Um, Squip?” Christine tapped his shoulder. “Can I talk to you for a sec?”
“Yeah, sure,” Squip smiled and excused himself from his conversation with Evan and Jared.
Christine led him outside, where no one was hanging around.
“There's something that's been bothering me since the play…” Christine fidgeted with her fingers.
“...okay? What's wrong?” Squip asked gently.
“I don't wanna make you uncomfortable or make you think I don't trust you, I just...need to ask you this.”
“It's fine, Christine, just ask.”
“Okay...so...you know how in the play, Michael came out and had the Mountain Dew Red and you made Jake pour it out?”
“Yes…”
“Why not let Jeremy drink it then?”
“I needed to allow time for Michael and Jeremy to rekindle their friendship a little. I wanted them to work together and become closer to fix my mistake of ruining their friendship.”
“Okay, but also, when Jeremy had that little bit of Mountain Dew Red in his hands, why did you stop him then?” Christine asked confused.
“Ah, I see you're point,” Squip smiled. “That, my dear, is because I needed Jeremy to see that you liked him back so once I disappeared, he would have the courage to ask you out.”
“So...you used me?” Christine raised an eyebrow.
“I'm sorry, Christine, but if I hadn't have shown him how you felt inside, his goal couldn't have been fulfilled,” Squip explained, rubbing his arm guiltily. “I know I manipulated you and I was wrong for that. It didn't even work out. I'm sorry I put you through that…”
“Squip...it's okay, I didn't mean to make you feel bad.”
“No, no, it's fine...the past is in the past,” Squip shrugged.
“I was just curious.”
“I get it.”
“Okay...well, that's all I really wanted to know, so you can go back to your friends...if you want.”
“Well, you're my friend too, Christine,” Squip smiled.
“Of course, silly,” Christine laughed. “I meant Evan and Jared.”
“You can join our conversation! Come on!”
Squip led Christine back inside.

Jeremy led Michael up to his bedroom to talk about something.
“Michael, can I ask you something?” Jeremy asked shyly.
“Technically, you just did,” Michael joked.
“Seriously.”
“Okay, okay, what's up, Jer-bear?”
“What...what do you think about polyamorous relationships?”
“I think they're fine,” Michael shrugged. “It's just another person to share love and cuddles with. Why?”
“No reason, just wondering,” Jeremy bit his lip.
“What's up, Jere? You can tell me, I'm the reinds to your boyf, remember?”
“I-I-I think I, um...I might be catching feelings for Squip, and...I think he feels the same way about both of us…”
Michael blinked twice before replying. “I think we should wait for a bit, y’know? Just to make sure your and Squip’s feelings are real. Plus,” Michael pulled Jeremy into a hug, “I want you all to myself for now.”
“I can live with that,” Jeremy hummed. “But let's not keep him waiting too long. He'll start pining for us.”
“Hey, you made me wait since seventh grade,” Michael pouted.
“I was oblivious, Mikey, you know that,” Jeremy frowned.
“Yeah. I know.”
“Come on, let's go back to our friends,” Jeremy said, trying to escape Michael’s hug, but failed.
“No, let's stay here,” Michael groaned and kissed Jeremy's cheek.
“Mikey, our friends are gonna wonder where we are,” Jeremy whined, again trying to free himself from his boyfriend’s hold.
“It's your house, you can go wherever you want,” Michael kissed Jeremy's jawbone.
“No, Michael, not right noOW!”
Michael smirked at the reaction he'd gotten when he nibbled on his neck. “C’mon, Jere.”
“N-no means no, Michael,” Jeremy stammered and finally broke free from Michael’s grip.
“Fine, but you owe me later,” Michael huffed, crossing his arms and pouting.
Jeremy giggled and kissed Michael’s pout away. “I'm all yours when everyone's gone, promise.”
Michael nodded in agreeance and kissed Jeremy once more before they returned to their friends.
