dominic came into the shop with a scowl.

"you don't look too good," lola commented, noticing the dark circles around his eyes.

"i always look good," he scoffed. "can you just ring me up already?"

lola blinked at his bluntness but did it anyway.

"four dollars and twenty-four cents," she said coldly, and he gave her the money.

"keep the change," he told her lowly, before stalking away and waiting for his drink. when lola finished, he took it and left the shop.
