I woke up to the sound of a constant vibrating coming from the bed side table. Tired and irritated I reach over with my eyes closed and grab onto the phone, expecting it to be mine but it was Havens.
BIG BALLER LAVAR🅱️🅱️🅱️
I laughed and started to shake Haven awake.
"Have, your phones ringing" I said getting her to sit up and grab her phone from me.
"Hello" she said still half asleep letting a little yawn escape her lips. I just smiled kissed her forehead and got up and walked into the bathroom to take a shower.

"Hello" I answered the phone half asleep, knowing I was about to be full awake with Lavar being on the other side of the phone.
"Haven it is almost 10 in the morning you better not be just waking up" he partially joked but I know he was serious at the same time.
"I needed my beauty rest, you should know this by now" I joked with him causing him to laugh.
"How are you doing girl, Tina and I wanted to congratulate you on your hit, you make us as proud as the boys" Lavar said all hyped up.
"Awhh thank you guys! You know I couldn't do it without yall support" I said honestly, they were the parents I never had.
"Always going to have your back, your family!" He said making me smile. "But Tina is getting pretty upset her 'daughter' hasn't been coming around no more" he said with that Lavar attitude.
"I know I'm sorry I been just working on this album, but tell her I miss her so much and will be in Chino this weekend to take her out and do girly stuff cause I know yall be drivin her crazy over there" I said truthfully making him laugh.
"Yeah she'll enjoy it, but congrats again girl keep making baller moves" He said making me roll my eyes and laugh.
"Always, and thank you again, Ill text you this weekend when I head out to Chino" I said getting ready to end the phone call.
"Sounds perfect! Love you girl, Big Baller out!" he said hanging up the phone and making me laugh.
That man is a handful but I'd be lost without him, Tina and the boys.
When I moved out to Los Angeles I met Zo at one of Kyles games and we clicked right away. Zo became one of my best friends, he knew everything about my past from being brought up in the foster care system to supporting myself once I turned 18 to make it out of Flint.
Once he learned this all about me he opted me to stay with him and his family. I denied for months until I actually met and grew to love his family and they grew to love me.
Tina always told me I was the daughter she never had.
It's the truth though even though the boys had their girlfriends around 24/7 Tina and I had a special bond so when she had her stroke last year it really took a toll on me and of course everyone else, but she's a Ball and when you're a Ball there is no such thing as being weak and Tina is bouncing back stronger and stronger.
"Haven" Kyle said waving his hand in front of my face
"Sorry what" I said zoning back into reality making him laugh.
"I said what did Lavar want" He questioned laying back down next to me.
"Congratulate me on my single and tell me Tina misses me" I said cuddling into him.
"Well that's good and yeah when's the last time you seen her" He questioned
"Its been a decent amount of time" I said sighing "I really miss her" I said feeling sad, she is the closest thing I have to a mom.
"Well go see her soon, you'll both like it" He said pulling me closer and kissing my forehead, making me sigh in content.
"I need to get home soon" I said randomly
"Nahhh" Kyle said now squeezing me tighter then he previously was
"Im all gross and need clothes plus need to let Joy im alive" I said laughing.
"First you aint gross, Second you can wear my clothes and third just call her now" He said smartly
"Fine but you got to make me my favorite" I said getting up to head to the bathroom.
"Hurry up and you might" He said getting up also and smacking my butt making me squeal.
Real life missed this man so much.
