Hey:)

The video is Demi Lovato's Give Your Heart a Break. I listened to it like the whole time I wrote this chapter. I thought it fit.

I dedicated this chapter to mrsniallhoran95 because she is such a sweet friend who is always there for me whether it's guy trouble or family problems. Love ya hun <3 xx

*Two Weeks later*

It was past midnight and I couldn't sleep to save my life. I had been having this problem a lot lately. I gave up trying to sleep and texted Harry.

To: Haz

Hey

From: Haz

hey. can't sleep?

To: Haz

No :/

 From: Haz

Wanna go to the park?

To: Haz

Right now? Do you know what time it is?

From: Haz

You're not sleeping...

To: Haz

Good point. I'll be there in 20. meet me at our bench?

From: Haz

Sure thing. x

To be honest I was happy for a chance to get out of the house. I hadn't been out since it happened. Well, except for school. Fresh air is exactly what I needed right now. I looked out the window. Snowing. Ugh. I put on two pairs of fuzzy socks, stuffed my sweats into my Uggs, pulled on an over-sized hoodie and grabbed my large coat. What? I hate being cold. On my way out I glanced in a mirror. I looked... empty? Not sad exactly, just like nothing was left in me. I pushed the door open and a gust of freezing cold air hit me. Brrrrrr.

In a few minutes I was waiting at the bench where Harry and I had met up a couple months ago. Has it been that long already? The weather was typical for early December. A layer of fresh snow covered everything. The untouched snow glistened in the warm glow of the street lamps. It was beautiful in a mysterious and lonely kind of way. Footsteps shattered the quiet still air. I turned around and saw Harry walking towards me.

"Look what I brought you," he said grinning as he handed me a steaming cup of hot chocolate.

"Why thank you hun. You're the best."

"I try," he replied cheekily. We stood there for a minute in comfortable silence just drinking. Harry broke the silence, "Come on, lets walk." He took my hand, interlocking our fingers. It was comforting to have him with me. But I felt so guilty for what had happened between him and Caroline. If it hadn't been for me, they would still be together. Don't get me wrong, I don't really like her, but if she made him happy, then that's all that matters.

"Harry, I-I'm so sorry, I--" I started apologising, but he cut me off.

"Lindsay, it's not your fault. Don't blame yourself." I sighed. At least he doesn't blame me. I squeezed his hand and he squeezed back. It's nice that he knew what I was talking about without me having to explain.
