//Harry's POV//

The snow was falling gently as I pulled up to the house; it was good to be home. I sat in the car thinking and trying to boost my confidence.

Lindsay was inside. I haven't seen or heard from her since the night we kissed. Will she be happy to see me? I quickly brushed that thought from my mind; of course she wouldn't. She's been ignoring me very thoroughly lately. Too most people that probably would not seem like such a big deal, but this was Lindsay. She has never been able to hold a proper grudge and she talks so much that if she is giving you the Silent Treatment, you know something big is up.

Did she not like our kiss? Personally, it was the best kiss I've ever had. It seemed like she liked it when she kissed me back. But maybe I was wrong, maybe she doesn't like me back. But, why wouldn't she? It's kind of ironic that the one girl I love, who I know isn't interested me because of my sudden rise to fame, probably doesn't feel the same way. But I am already here, so it's worth trying, because what if she does? That would definitely make trying worth it.

With my new confidence I hesitantly got out of the warm car and walked up to the door. I searched my pocket for my keys before I realized that I didn't have my old house key with me. Feeling stupid, I rang the door bell. The door opened to reveal Lindsay. While looking into her shocked brown eyes, I felt my stomach drop and my confidence shrivel. Maybe this was a bad idea after all. I was the first to recover.

"Hey, Lindsay. Happy Christmas Eve," I said cutting through the thick silence.

"Happy Christmas Eve to you too," she said a little late. "Here, come in. I'm sure Mum will be ecstatic to see you. Oh, and there is some hot chocolate if you want some..."

I smiled as I walked inside. She always rambles when she's nervous, and I noticed she called Anne, 'Mum' just like she used to when we were kids. I was relieved that she was at least talking to me. Lindsay and I went to join everyone else in the living-room. When Anne and Gemma saw me they started freaking out and attacked me with hugs and kisses. Jeez, you'd think I had come back from the dead. Even Robin, my step-dad seemed excited to see me. Everyone did, but Lindsay who didn't talk to me anymore. Is she really going to keep ignoring me? What have I done to make her distance herself from me? Is she really this worked up over a kiss?

I honestly tried to focus on the conversation, I really did. But my mind kept wandering back to Lindsay. Finally Anne decided to call it a night and we all went our separate ways. I went up to my old room and started getting ready for bed. Suddenly the door opened and Lindsay walked in, she had put her hair in a messy bun and I noticed she was wearing some of my old clothes that I had left here. I gave her a pointed look and I watched a faint blush creep onto her cheeks. She was so cute when she was embarrassed.

"I forgot to pack pajamas," she said defensively.

"Whatever," I said giving her a cheeky wink. She just rolled her eyes and closed the door. Confused I looked around and saw her guitar and bags. Then I understood.

"Wait, you're staying in here?" I asked incredulously.

"Well duh. You weren't here before, remember? This was the only open room. I guess I could sleep on the couch..." she offered.

"No that's okay. I can sleep on the couch."

"No! Definitely not, this is your house. It's not a big deal."
