//LINDSAY'S POV//

Wow, Aly really had out done herself this time. In her attempts to keep me 'distracted' she had planned a full-out slumber party. She must have finally gone crazy. But I appreciate the gesture. She had invited all of our friends from work, so this should be interesting. I am excited to see them; they are an intriguing bunch of chicks.

There's Sydney, who in one word is awesome. She has luscious curly dark brown hair that reaches all the way down to her middle back. Her thick eyelashes frame her big warm chocolate colored eyes, making her one of the prettiest people I know. But she is much more than a pretty face. She loves to have a laugh and will do anything just to have fun. Sydney really cares about her friends and family, and will defend them to the death. She and Aly are definitely the loud ones who can brighten anyone's day.

McKenna is quieter, but don't let that fool you. Even though she may seem shy at first, once you get her talking she doesn't stop. She always has funny stories about her water polo team and she loves to share them. Unlike most people, in a difficult situation she will tell you what you need to hear, and not what you want to hear. That quality makes her one of the most valuable friends I have. I can always go to her for advice. But not only is she wonderful on the inside, she's gorgeous. She has light brown hair that almost turns blonde in the summer, and she has a swimmers athletic build.

My friend Megan and I actually go to the same school. We met at work over the summer, but then discovered that we had the same Math and English class. She is always in on the latest trends, and has a habit of setting plenty of her own. Megan is waaay more popular than I am, but she is definitely not arrogant or rude. Everyone loves her because of her sunny personality and the fact that she loves everyone right back. Some people mistake her for being shallow, but don't be fooled, she's one smart cookie. I think I would've failed the first semester of Math if it hadn't been for her incredible ability to help me understand the material.

And last, but certainly not least,  my dear friend Sophie. Soph and I have been friends since I moved here from Holmes Chapel. She welcomed me and helped fill the gaping hole that losing Harry had left. She is an amazing dancer and probably the nicest person I know. She's considering becoming a model, and if she chose too, she would have no problem getting hired. She has long legs, pale skin, and dark hair. The stark contrast of her features make her the envy of every female she comes across. Pair that with her carefree fun-loving attitude and she is entirely irresistible to the guys.

Anyway, back to the present. Aly wouldn't let me help set anything up, or help with anything really. I finished packing a small bag with the essentials I needed for the night, and headed downstairs to the kitchen to wait. I put my bag on the counter and pulled some chocolate milk out of the fridge.

Bzzzzzzzzz.

One new text message.

Without even checking my phone I knew who it was. Harry hasn't stopped texting and calling me all week. How has he not gotten the message that we need some time apart? I rolled my eyes and ignored my phone as it continued to buz.

"Aren't you going to get that?" My little sister Lauren asked nodding towards my phone.

"Nahh, it's Harry."
