- I'll go.
- I don't think it's a good idea, actually.
- I'm not asking for permission. I've created a monster now I 'ave to keep it under control.
- She ain't no monster, Miles. She saved you, don't forget about that.
- You guys still defending her? Seriously!?
- We're not defending her. Maybe it is even... my fault, a little. She hinted summat like this could happen, a while ago, but I decided to keep things shushed from you guys. - Alex said, scratching his nape.

It was the exact opposite of when he put both hands in his pockets.

- Is that so? - Miles asked.
- Yes. I went to talk to her about this whole "going to Paris" thing and she told me she had "no reasons to stay here" and that Tyler had told her maybe it was "time she would leave the nest" and "live a little", it was as if she couldn't see us lot anymore. She was blindly in love with Tyler at that moment already. - Alex explained to the others.
- No wonder you kept that from us. - Jamie said.
- Actually, if it's Alex's fault then it's my fault as well. I got here early the next day and Alex opened up to me about the matter. I even suggested we would kill Tyler or turn him in but there was a chance Lil could find about that later. - Matt explained.
- She would 'ave turned against us for sure. - Jamie agreed.

All Nick could do was look from one face to another.

- I know right! - Alex said.
- Well, it doesn't matter right now, does it? Damage is already done, all that's left to do is to try to repair it. I'm pretty sure they'll be laying low for tonight and maybe tomorrow, as well, so all I 'ave to do is get to Paris before them and keep an eye on them, bring her back here at all costs. - Miles said.
- What about Tyler? - Matt asked.
- What about him? - Miles asked back.
- Of course he'll resist you taking her back here and she will not accept to leave him. - Matt said again.
- Don't worry your pretty head about it, Helders. I know what I'm doing.

Miles said and started to leave.

- Gotta go, 'ave to pack. I'll write you lot.

--------------------------------------------------------

- I don't think I can enjoy much of Paris, now. - Lil said, looking at herself into the mirror. - Maybe I should stay.
- You can't stay, darling. I'm sorry. Not even if you wanted to. - Tyler said, holding her hand.
- Always running away... - She looked at him.
- It's what comes with it.
- I know... I just wish we didn't have to go, I mean, at least for now. I don't feel that great anymore.
- I can imagine. It's hard but think like this: is there something else you could really have done to reach your... goal?

No.

- Maybe I could have shot her gun.
- The bullet could have ricocheted if you had managed to hit her gun, and I mean that's pretty ambitious.
- Yeah...

Maybe

- What about we go to sleep now? - Tyler asked, kissing her cheek.
- I think it's a good idea. - She said in an almost inaudible voice.

Lil lied in bed with Tyler in their little hideout.

No one would find them there.

- Do you think the other people buried their money by now? - Lil asked Tyler.
- I believe so. The deal was to leave the money hidden for a while, it's gonna make it harder to trace it back to us. - Tyler said.

They had hidden their money away as well.

- I just hope they chose safe places. - Lil said.
- I'm sure they did. I might even have given them a few tips about some places.
- Is that so?
- Yeah. Listen.

And then Tyler told her all about the places he had "mentioned" to the others.

- I don't understand why you're telling me all of this. - Lil said, turning around to face Tyler.
- You never know when you'll need to hide something. And now there are not any secrets between us as well, I just shared all of my hiding places with you that means you'll always be able to find me. - Tyler said, touching Lil's face gently.
- I would not let you out of my sight in the first place. I love you.
