Next day Narayan was roaming in his room.

Rohit knocked on door.

"Aao na Rohit beta. " Narayan said.

"Baba.. Mujhe lagta hai jo bhi hua hai.. Wo aapko ek baar khud jake party high command ko explain karna chahiye.. " Rohit suggested.

"Maine kuch galat kiya hi nai hai toh main kyu kuch explanation doon.? " Narayan was looking irritated.

"Baba par accuse to aapko kiya gaya hai na.. " Rohit said.

"Rohit.. Mujh pe aise hi accuses lagaye gaye hai.. Mera uss construction se kuch lena dena hi nai hai.. " Narayan suddenly said.

Rohit became confused.

"Matlab.? " Rohit asked.

"Beta Rohit.. Police ne sare papers.. Sab files check ki.. Iss construction ke ownership pe mera nai.. Tumhara naam hai.. " Narayan said with fearful voice.

Rohit took some stpes back after listening this. He was shocked.

"Matlab. Ma.. Main kuch samjha nai.. " He said.

"Beta.. Tumhe yaad hai ki tumne jid ki thi.. Ki agar iss construction ke liye tum senior engineer nai ho sakte to ownership tumhe milni chahiy.? " Narayan asked.

"Haan.. Par aapne mana kiya tha baba.. " Rohit replied.

"Par maine ain waqt pe usko tumhare naam kiya tha.. " Narayan said.

Rohit started sweating.

"Par aisa kaise ho sakta hai.. Sab kuch toh aap dekhte the.. Sab aapki sign se hota tha udhar.. " Rohit said.

"Haan.. Kyu ki maine owner tumhee rakh ke apne aap ko incharge banaya tha.. Trust me beta.. Main khud jail chala jata.. Par tumhe iss sab me atkane me.. Meri jaan ja rahi hai Rohit.. " Narayan said with teary eyes.

Rohit was still in shock. He just left from there and came back in his room.

"How is that possible.. How is that even possible.. " He was muttering under his breathe.

He went near the closet and took out a bottle and started making a drink for himself. He then took out a ciggrate and started taking it's puff with his shaking hands.

Bandana entered and found whole room filled with smoke. She coughed.

"Rohit kya kar rahe hai aap.? " She asked.

"Door raho.. " He said as his eyes were turning red.

Bandana became worried.

"Par hua kya hai.  ? " She asked.

"Bahot bada dhokha.. Baba ne iss construction site ki nai.. Dusre iske sath me hi shuru hue ek construction site ki ownership mujhe di thi.. Aur apne aap ko in charge rakha tha.. Yeh wo site nai thi.. " Rohit shouted.

"Par.. Itne dino tak samajh me nai aya police ko.? Achanak se.? " Bandana asked.

"3 hi din hue na Bandana.. Ab jake unhone sare papers dekhe.. I am sure.. Maine sign kiya tha.. Maine khud se dekha tha.. 3 mahine pehle.. Baba ne ek dusre site ki ownership di thi mujhe.. Papers Bandana.. Wo badle gaye hai.. " He said.

Bandana sat down beside him.

"Ab kya hoga.  ? " she asked.

"Ab kya..? Uss engineer ke sath main bhi jail jaunga.. " Rohit told.

Bandana grabbed her hair & closed her eyes.

"Uss waqt dada ne bola tha.. Papers ki copy rakho apne pas.. Par maine kaha tha ki jaroorat nai.. Baba ke pas rehne dete hai. " Rohit was crying now.
