Epilogue

Sumedh stared at his father. Everyone else went to police station to file a complaint against Narayan.

"Baba." He started. "If you really wanna go then just go.. I won't be able to see you like this. I have always adored you. I have always tried to be like you. I was so proud if you even though I knew what you were doing with Mother."

Narayan was looking quiet.

"Tum yeh sab bol rahe ho isliye main tayyar ho gaya jail jane ke liye.. Sirf tum bol rahe ho isliye.. Tumhare bager mera koi astitva nahi hai Sumedh. Jis din se tum paida hue ho us din se leke aaj tak maine jo bhi kiya hai wo sab kuch tumhe najar me rakh ke. Tumhare liye.. " He said.

" Aapko sach me regret hai ya phir aise hi?"Sumedh asked.

" Mujhe regret hai ki main tumhara role model hua karta tha aur ab nai hoon. Jo cheez tumhe galat lagti hai wo badlne ke liye main tayyar hoon. "His father replied.

" Sumedh" He heard his mother's faint voice. She had came out of the room whist still feeling dizzy.

"Aai.. Tum kyu aayi ho bahar" Sumedh went ahead and held her shoulders.

"Kya hua hai yeh dekhne.. Baki ke log kaha hai?" She asked.

"Sab police station gaye hai complaint karne" Sumedh answered.

Nilima's expressions changed in a flash of second.

"Kaisi complaint? Kyu? Nahi Sumedh tum logoko aisa nai karna chahiye.. Bahot cheeze hai. Hum aisa karenge toh bahot kuch ho jayega.. Itne log.." She became restless.

"Kuch nai hoga Aai.. Kuch nai hoga.. Hum sab tumhare sath hai.. Yeh jaroori hai ki hum Baba ko saja dilwaye.. Aaj agar koi ghar me nai hota toh yeh maar dalte tumhe." Sumedh said.

"Aisa dar mujhe kai baar lag chuka hai ki yeh maar dalenge mujhe.. Par Sumedh tum tino mere sath honge toh inki koi himmat nai mujhe kuch karne ki." Nilima said while looking towards Narayan.

Sumedh saw everyone coming back. He became confused.

"What happened" He asked.

Aarushi sat down on couch and so did Rohit and Bandana. Amit was still standing. Devaki stood beside him.

"Isse puccho." Rohit pointed towards Amit.

"Kya hua Dada" Sumedh asked.

"Hamne complaint nai file ki." Amit said.

"Par kyu?" Sumedh asked.

"Ham risk nai le sakte Sumedh, do din me voting hai. Hum risk nai le sakte. Hamko nai pata hai ki yeh cheez achanak se kaise hogi.. Logoki kya reaction hogi. Abhi iss stage pe Aarushi ki jit pakki hai aur hum risk nai le sakte." Amit told.

"Aaj nai hua toh kabhi nai hoga. Aai apna man badal degi aur bolegi complaint nai deni." Rohit said.

"Main Aarushi ke campaign ka head hoon aur main nai chahta yeh ho. Jaise hi voting hoga hum complaint karenge. Believe me" Amit said. "But before that I want Baba to apologise."

"Jaroorat nahi hai Amit.." Nilima suddenly said. "Koi jaroorat nahi hai. Mere tino bete mere side me hai aur yeh mere samne aise sar jhukaye khade hai bas yahi kafi hai.. Jag jit liya maine.. Na main inse mafi mangwana chahti hoon aur na hi inse kuch kehna chahti hoon.. Haan par agar jail se wapis aane ke baad tum sabog inko ek chance dena chahoge toh main bhi doongi. "

Everyone agreed with her decision. Aarushi was looking very confused as these things were happening so fast. But still she decided to keep calm. She believed in Amit and now in Sumedh also.
