Chapter 10

Lilith's POV

August 3 12:30 pm

I was watching cal and olly in the pool behind my dark sunglasses he was kicking his little baby feet and laughing he looked so much like Calum I found myself unable to not love the small child

" lily did you see that?" Cal screams at me after Oliver splashes him

"Yeah I saw at it was adorable" I stand and leave my glasses on the chair walking into the freezing pool

"Come here baby" he holds a hand out for me to grab so I do he pulls me close and suddenly the air is knocked out of me

"Did you just dunk me?" He laughs so loud I. Sure Claire can hear it form her house

"Possibly or maybe it was olly" he holds the baby who is trying to make his way to me

"Olly would never he loves me don't you?" He just makes happy baby noises

"I'll always love you more though" cal kisses me before going to get olly a towel

2:00pm

"He's down for the nap and you need to come here" cal sits on the edge of the bed holding me between his legs

"Whys that?"

"Because it's been more than two days and I have needs" he smacks my bum making me jump and swat his arm

"Well too bad olly is just down the hall and I won't do that with him here"

"Alright baby but after he leaves I'm going to take you on ever surface I can find" his voice holds so much promise I tighten my legs in order to find some relief

He presses his face into my stomach and kisses the skin

"One day well have our own together and it'll be perfect I think olly would like a sister" he muses as I run my fingers through his hair

"Is that so?" I smile, happy knowing he's comfortable talking to me like this

"Yes we can name her ... Rosie" he says so quietly I almost don't catch it

"I'd like that" he looks up and pulls me in for a kiss

Trying to be cheeky he slides his hand up my dress and olly starts crying echoing in the halls

" I'll get him you relax baby maybe call jane and see when she's going to come get him?" I ask as his expression is pure shock

"You want her to come here?"

"I don't mind anymore" I shrug going and grabbing olly who almost instantly is out again on my shoulder

Calum's POV

3:00 pm

"Hey jane it's Calum"

"Hi Calum" she says reluctantly

"When would you like to come get Oliver"

"I'll ask your mom I don't want to make Lilith uncomfortable"

"Don't worry about it she's the one who asked if you'd like to come here"

"Really?" Her voice is hopeful

"Yes, so what time will it be?"

"6ish?"

"Sounds good I'll see you then"

Just after I hung up lily and olly came in him asleep on her shoulder holding her neck

Smiling softly I pull them close and kiss his head before kissing her lips

"Lily I want you to know how I feel about you it's so much more than love, your everything to me, everything I am and everything I have is yours always" she curls into my chest and sighs

"I love you cal so much so words don't describe it"

"Marry me?" The words are out before I can stop them her eyes wide and she opens and closes her mouth

"You want to marry me?" She sounds like I'm playing some cruel joke on her

"More than anything I want to marry you" she just nods

I kiss her hand before her and olly go lay down both taking a nap while I do some work some odd amount of hours later there's a knock at my office door

"Calum?"

"Come in jane"

"Where is Oliver"

"Laying down with Lilith"pain flashes in her eyes before nodding and sitting across my desk in the arm chair

"Did you enjoy your time with him?"

"I always do jane he's my son and I love him" she smiles

"At least that's one thing I could give you" I look at her and sigh

"Jane what are you trying to do?"

"I just wanted to know I gave you that before her that I'll always have that upper hand"

"One day her and I will have children jane"

"No you won't you don't want kids and when she knows that she'll leave"

"I'm marrying her" I snap

"You're I'm sorry what?" She chokes out like I've physically hurt her

"I'm going to marry her and start a family as soon as possible" I tell her truthfully she just so s quietly and we both face the door where lily stands with olly

"There's my fiancée now" I stand and kiss her she shares the same expression as jane

"Olly come to mommy" jane wipes her eyes and grabs him he pulls on Lilith's shirt trying to stay

"Olly go your mommy wants you" lily kisses his head and pulls his hands off her moving to my side

"Well be going now it was lovely seeing you and congrats" she directs toward me and smiles at lily before she rushes out not allowing me to say bye

"Why would you tell her? Was this whole proposal just to hurt her?" Fury and pain dance in her blue eyes

"Never it has nothing to do with her I told her to show her you are here to stay and I'm not leaving you I'm never leaving you ok?"

"Ok" she holds me close
