Intoxicated (calum hood)

Chapter 11

April 26 2:30pm

"I can't do this" I've thrown up three times today Calum made me so nervous

Perhaps I should explain this in the day of our wedding we are in his home of Sydney, Australia, I've done nothing but get sick in this terribly hot weather when I was supposed to be having my makeup and dress put on

"Lily?" Claire called from the other side of the door

"I'm ok Claire bear I just need to relax" I sigh pressing my forehead to the cold toilet seat

"Are you sure I could get Calum?" Uncertainty clear in her voice

"No! Don't do that please just give me one second" I jump up and brush my teeth before sitting and letting the crew he's hired take care of me

A few hours later I was complete I knew we weren't supposed to see each other but I needed to see him to get through this in my silk white robe I search for cal finding his room I stop at the sound of voices

"I'm pregnant! What do you think she's going to say when she finds out?!" Jane harshly whispers

"Nothing because she won't find out!" He says equally as harsh

"You will not act like nothing happened Calum!" She actually yells I briefly catch him running his hand through his hair

"I love her jane, I'm begging you do not tell her at least not today" pain flashes in his eyes and I feel so betrayed I don't stay for her answer I turn and leave back to my room grabbing all my things and shoving them in my bag I leave my dress on the bed and write him a note before telling Claire what I was doing I snuck out and took a cab to the airport

I wouldn't marry a monster

April 26 4:00pm

Calum's POV

The music plays as I stand at the alter waiting for Lilith to walk out my heart is racing and my palms are sweaty today I was going to marry the only woman I've ever loved

Everyone turns only to find Claire running at me instead of Lilith

"Calum she gone" Claire whispers uncomfortable aware of all the eyes on her

"She's what?" My heart has literally stopped beating

"She left Calum I went to her room and there is a note and her dress nothing else" as soon as the words leave her mouth in running down the aisle and to her room

I open the door and there sits exactly what Claire said I grab the note and read

Calum,

Please forgive me. I love you. I always will but jane needs you when you're child comes I can't be there ,I can't be with you knowing you were with her. I am not mad at you or upset, I'm only disappointed I thought you loved me as well. Clearly I was wrong.

Please forgive me like I've forgiven you
