"Are you comfortable?" The flight attendant asked. She must of been concerned because I am 16 and was on the plane alone, though, I was in 2nd class seating."Yeah I'm fine. Thank you." I respond.
I don't know why my mum thought it necessary to put me in 2nd class. It's a waste of money....I'm on my way to Paris, France for the second competition in a chain of them. The first comp went pretty well. I won 2nd. I'm not really mad about it though. My free skate is an emotional skate, for my father. My organized skate is to a classical song that my coach picked out for me. I like it too, which is rare. It's called Nocturne opposition 9 number 2 by Frederic Chopin. It's calm, I love it....
We finally landed. A 16 hour flight is exhausting. I should have asked that lady for some food and drink.
I step outside of the airport with my suitcase.
I'm wearing a beanie and a sweatshirt with some jeans and sunglasses. I never thought about the fact that I would have paparazzi being a skater and a model. Shoulda just got an actual job, though, this is well paid."Well," I said to myself "I should get to my hotel then grab a bite"
I walk to my hotel and end up picking up my rolling suitcase. It was making and ear-wrenching sound.
While I walk I think of places to eat.
"I wonder is French Maccas tastes any different from Aussie Maccas." (Maccas- Australian slang for McDonald. Aussie- How Australians said Australian)I reach my hotel and check in. When I get in the elevator and press the button for floor 4, I feel dwarfed by a guy standing next to me on the elevator. Even though I'm about 5'9 this man must of been 10 feet tall! The elevator beeps and we reach the 4th floor. The guy says something in French that I could kind of understand. Something about shoes? I don't know so I just waved.
I unlock my door and when I'm in I close it. I look in the room kind of annoyed that my mum bought a luxury hotel room for one person. She loves spending money on random shit. Though, she's always kind of baby'd me. I set down my suit case and plop on my bed. I look at the time."13:24pm" (1:24pm) I say tiredly. I'll get some food later, I'm too exhausted.
I get up to take my calendar and think of my mum when she gave it to me. 'You need to stay organized and keep everything on this' she said as she handed it to me. I let out a slight airy laugh and smile a bit.
I open it to see when the competition is.
"Saturday June 17th at 8:00 pm" I say
I sigh and lay back on my bed and end up falling asleep.
