I compete soon. In just one hour, actually,
I'm not nervous, weirdly.
I looked up what time the junior division competition starts tomorrow.
"9:30 am...." I say to myself
"Whats that?" My couch says, startling me as he opens the door.
"Oh, nothing..! When did your plane land?" I say, trying to change the subject.
"About a half an hour ago I think."
"Oh okay."
"Anyways, here." He said tossing me a pack of Tim Tams from Australia.
My eyes lit up as I caught them and realized what they were.
"Ooooooohhh!! Thanks mate!!"
I opened them right away and ate one.
It's hard to eat more than one at a time, they fill you up fast.

We later made our way to the competition.
It was really crowded until we got to the locker rooms. I've only made three appearances on TV in the men's division because I'm 16, and got into the men's division last year. This chain of competitions is my 4th televised event.
I've competed at one televised local event in Australia, one televised event at my school (it was a school carnival and I was one of the entertainments), and I skated at a Grand Prix in Japan, where I briefly met Yuri Katsuki and Viktor Nikiforov.
I took 5th in that Grand Prix.
Shortly after that last competition, my father, Henry, died.
He died of Acanthoma cancer in the legs.
I was depressed and detached from my friends and family for months.
I still am, but I've gotten better.

The reason I like Tim Tams so much, is because, my father would always buy them for me, so, it's nostalgic.
