Chapter 4

As I was just about to fall asleep my phone buzzed. it was from jc.

jc: hey can't sleep wbu?

me: haha same

jc: wanna meet up in your back yard?

I immediately got so excited. I literally met this boy 12 hours ago and now I'm sneaking out to go see him. well technically I'm not sneaking out- its just my backyard- but it's pretty close. I text him back and say I'll see him in 10 mins. that should give me enough time to find and excuse to tell my mom if she catches us.

I decide to tell her that I couldn't sleep so I decided to put my feet in the pool. hey, I'm not completely lying. once I get out jc is already there waiting with a box of twinkies. this boy is literally perfect. we talk for a while and eventually we both get tired and we decide to head back.

I swear I have never slept as good as I did that night. jc made me so happy I wanted him to be mine.

(Jc's pov)

it was around 2 in the morning and I couldn't stop thinking about alexis. her long brown hair, her hazel eyes, her sweet voice. I really hope she's into me. after another 20 minutes of agony I decide to text her. we end up making plans to meet in her back yard. I wanted to impress her so I grabbed a box of Ricky's twinkies an headed over to her house.

once I got there I saw her coming down her deck stairs. even though she was wearing a giant t-shirt and her hair was a mess, she still looked super attractive. I could tell she was the one for me. we hung out for a while and I could slowly see her getting tired. I suggested I go home and I could tell she was overjoyed to be able to sleep.

once I got back home all I could think of was a way to make this girl mine.

(lexi's pov)

I woke up the next morning really happy. I ate breakfast real quick and headed to gymnastics. over summer practice lasts 5 hours but I just couldn't wait to get home and make plans with jc.

when I got home I showered and I texted jc.

me: hey wanna hang out today?

he replied immediately

jc: yea sure! do you penny board?

me: yea- do you wanna pennyboard?

jc: yea! meet me at my house in 10?

me: see you then :)

I went to my closet and picked out a pair of ripped high waisted jean shorts and I matched it with my hoodie allen muscle tee. I put on my black toms and grabbed my Penney Board.

I love my penny board. it has a mint green deck, blue and yellow wheels, and silver bearings.

I rode to jcs house and we started just riding around the neighborhood. we got to the kids play ground and there was like this really big basketball court. jc and I decided to ride sitting down and like try not to bump into each other. we were having so much fun until I ended up riding over the edge of the court and jc tripped over a piece of rock and we both ended up rolling down the hill next to it holding each other. once we got the the bottom jc was on top of me. I looked into his deep brown eyes. I saw his adorable smile spread across his face. I wanted to kiss him so bad. and suddenly to my surprise- he did just that. he leaned in and kissed me. I kissed back. this might sound really cheesy but it was perfect. I felt like I was the most special girl in the entire world. once he leaned back I had to ask him something.

"jc, does this mean were dating," I ask. I see that cute smile again. "I hope so!" he says.
