Gremlins vs Critters

Meeting Kevin

Now, Connie, Liv, and Debbie were walking on the sidewalk to Connie's apartment.

Debbie- You know it's weird though.

Connie- What's weird ?

Debbie- You know , the gremlins and those critter chompy things. It's really been a long time.

Connie- Yeah, it really has. I think those gremlins are kinda cool though.

Liv- Yeah, I think so too.

Debbie- And I love the way that they wrote the stripe gremlin's last words on the side of the page. ( imitates Stripe's raspy voice )  "Gizmo , Caca !!!"

Connie and Liv laugh.

Debbie- and you know, if I was a gremlin, I would be having a lot of fun right now. It may not be bad.

Connie- ( scoffs and smirks ) Uh, yeah and you'll die in the sunlight.

But not paying attention, Connie bumped into someone and fell on her knees. And so did the person. They both groaned in unison .

Connie looks at her head up to see the person and so did that person. They soon stared at each other. It was Kevin. They were both mesmerized by each other. Connie stared  deeply into his hazel eyes as he stared deeply into her ocean blue ones.

Debbie seems slightly annoyed while Liv just had a plain look on her face. So Debbie decided to break the silence. She waves her arms in the air ready to shout.

Debbie- Um, Dude ! Are you gonna help her up or are you just gonna stare at her all day ?!

The two broke out of the trance and quickly turns their heads to Debbie who's tapping her foot impatiently with her hands on her sides.

Kevin looks back at her.

Kevin- Oh, I'm sorry. Here, let me help you up.

Kevin held his hand out for Connie and take it and helps her up from her knees, as they are now standing.

Connie- Um, it's ok. I'm a Connie Parker.

Kevin- Kevin Harrison.

Connie- Haven't seen you around here before ? Have you moved here from another state ?

Kevin- Um, yeah. Honolulu, Hawaii.

Debbie-( smirks and speaks in playful tone ) Ooh. A hawaiian boy. I like them.

Connie playfully rolls her eyes.

Connie- And those are my friends. Liv Dylan and Debbie Marsh.

Kevin- That's cool. Hi.

Liv- ( waves ) Hi.

Debbie- Hey. So what is it like in hawaii ?

Kevin- Well you know, warm and sunny.

Liv- Duh.

Debbie gives her a glare.

Kevin- Well I think I should be going. Nice meeting ya, Connie. You guys too , Liv and Debbie.

He then walks off.

Connie had a dreamy look on her face right now.

Debbie- Ooh. Someone has a crush.

Connie- ( playfully elbows her ) oh, shut it, Deb.

Liv- Yeah, come on let's go.

Connie- Yeah. Come on

The trio continued  walk to their destination.

As Kevin kept on walking, he stopped and turn around to see Connie walking away. He smiles affectionately  before turning around and proceeded to move.
