"Ms. Barr is probably already back." Edd smiled to himself as he looked at the clock.

It was almost 12 o'clock. The sockhead begun to make his way to the door. However it was a surprise to see who was standing outside the house.

"Greetings Nazz. How are you doing?"

The blond girl surely looked surprised when she saw Edd and looked at the house number to make entirely sure she was at the right place.

"Well who is it Dork?" Kevin asked slowly coming up from behind.

"Hi. Kev. Hi Double Dee." Nazz said cheerful.

Her voice shocked Kevin. He just realized that he let Edd open the door and he didn't want people to find out that the Dork took care of him.

"Hi. Nazz. Why are you here?" he greeted her as he shoved Edd out of the way.

"Not cool Dude. Did you already forget that I wanted to check on you."

"Of course not. I just expected you later." Kevin tried to cover his mistake with this lie and a forced fake laugh.

"Well okay. But let me ask you this. Why is Double Dee here? Are you two finally friends again?"

"Umm. Well... I..." he couldn't manage to form a sentence so Edd decided to do it for him:

"I am here because of the absence of Kevin's mother. She asked if I could watch over Kevin while he is down with influenza."

"That makes sense. Can I come in?"

"Of course Nazz." Kevin invited her in while shoving Edd out of the way again.

"But Nazz influenza is contagious you shouldn't go in here without the right protection." Edd tried to stop her.

"Umm. Double Dee you aren't wearing anything special besides an apron either." Nazz stated.

"Oh my Goodness. You are right. This is not good. Not good. Not good." he chanted as he took the apron of.

"Clam down dork. My germs already got you when we fell. It's too late anyways so just go without that stupid overall." Edd almost fainted at Kevin's words. He really hated dirt and germs but he realized that he should have been more careful. Still Edd really wanted to make himself clean but somehow he also didn't want to leave Kevin so he decided to take some pills from his influenza kid when he got the chance.

"You to fell down? How did that happen?" Nazz asked when they arrived at the living room. The boys both blushed at Nazz's words while she gave them a strange stare.

"Forget it. It was nothing important. Let's watch some TV." Kevin changed the subject and turned on the television. Nazz and Edd followed Kevin to the couch and Edd ended up sandwiched between them.

"Nazz if you don't mind me asking what brings you here?" Edd asked curious.

"Oh. Kevin texted me when I was about to clean the ceiling and.."

"Wait please. My apologies for intruding but why would you clean the ceiling?" Edd interrupted her story confused while Kevin just listened.

"Well you should clean the house beginning from the highest point and that would be the ceiling, duh." Nazz explained confident.

"Well I guess you're right. My apologies for interrupting your story. Please continue your narrative."

"Well and he said he was sick. So I was like. Don't sweat it because I couldn't make it to the Lain either. You know I have to babysit Eddy and he lives next door so I thought I'd stop by before going there."
