(That's a reason but no obstacle)

Kevin woke up early on Monday in a bad mood. He already spent his whole Sunday with processing Saturdays events but still hasn't come on terms with them. He stepped out of bed just to take a cold shower because the warm water didn't work. Even grumpier he threw on his green sweater and his black short pants. His high school doesn't have school uniforms yet and who knows if it ever will. Then he packed his bag with his homework and made his way downstairs. As he walked down he could already smell his mother's pancakes. Finally he didn't want to barf at he sent anymore. Kevin's cold was completely gone.

"Good Morning. Sweaty." greeted his overly positive Mother.

"Morning." Kevin mumbled a little annoyed from his Mother's positive attitude.

"Oh. What's wrong Sweaty?"

"Nothing much. Just having to go to school like on most Mondays. And stop calling me Sweaty." his voice shifted from annoyance to a slight anger when he said his last sentence.

"I don't think you are telling me the whole story. But let's just enjoy these beautiful blueberry pancakes."

They eat quietly their delicious pancakes till Kevin looked at the clock. He just had enough time to brush his teeth and not be late for school.

Kevin looked around hoping to maybe spot Edd as he hopped on his trusty bike.

"He probably already left. That's so like him." Kevin stated a little disappointed when he made his way to Peach Creek High which was newly build next to the Jr. High but still had the same design flaw of not having a pool.

The food menu did not change much either and the principal became John Miller who was the vice principal of Peach Creek Jr. High.

Kevin thought about how much and yet so little his live in the cul-de-sac had changed. When he was just riding along his usual way to school he spotted Nazz walking together with Sarah and Jimmy.

"Yo." Kevin greeted them giving them a light nod.

"Hi. Kevin." Nazz greeted him back with a smile.

"It's good to see you Kevin." said Jimmy with his still squeaky voice while Sarah just waved. It was strange to see Sarah nice for an exchange but while Jimmy is a round she was tamed for the most part.

Kevin slowed down his bike. Not just because he wanted to have a nice chat with Nazz but also because he was subconsciously looking around for Double Dee.

"So Nazz. How did your babysitting go?" but even though Kevin was curious about the babysitting he didn't listen all too well because his eyes went searching for a certain somebody. When he finally realized who he was looking for he shook his head hard and began to concentrate on Nazz's story.

"It went really good." Nazz smiled broadly, "I made my special macaroni with cheese for him again. Although Eddy seemed a little bit strange. He almost couldn't put the food in his mouth and spilt the orange juice on him."

"What a Dork." laughed Kevin.

"You aren't any better when you are nervous." defended Nazz Eddy.

Kevin blushed slightly at her comment.

"Anyway. I helped Eddy to remove the juice because a babysitter got to know that. It was kinda cute how he got all red."

Kevin couldn't suppress his laugh.

"Seriously Nazz. How could you think Eddy is cute."

"Well he is! His gentle and insecure side has its appeal." Nazz defended Eddy harshly.
