(Birds of a feather flock together)
"Mr. Barr. I give you a chance to explain yourself before I take my actions." exasperated the principal trying to still stay calm.
"I'm also not gonna get out of this one, aren't I?" thought Kevin already giving up to get out of this situation, "Well I could at least try. Hope it doesn't get worse..."
"Well it's not what it looks like." Kevin begun with the worst sentence he could use.
"So it didn't look like you where fighting over Mr. Vincent with Marie Kanker?!" the principal assured himself.
"Then it kina was. But I wasn't bulling him or anything." Kevin tried to save his point.
"Oh really. Then what would you describe two people pulling someone's arms describe as, Mr. Barr?"
"Umm. Ehh." Kevin stuttered, "I'm fucked." he thought, "I really didn't bully him. Please belief me. We are friends now. You can ask Double Dee."
"And as it's known victims of bulling are known to be not intimidated and always tell the truth about their abuse." remarked the principal sarcastic.
"And it's all downhill from here. What did I say about it couldn't get worse again?"
"So you already run out of excuses. I give you exactly one last chance, Mr. Barr. But only because I don't want to show the school inspector Danny Antonucci our basketball team without his leader."
"So I only get this chance because of the school's image?!" Kevin's voice shook in anger because of all the distrust he got.
"To say it bluntly yes. I can't afford bad image on my new school but this doesn't mean I'm fond of bulling either."
Kevin just stood up keeping his anger in he walked to the door.
"Mr. Barr before you go. Your mother will learn about your action." informed the principal Kevin to get even more under Kevin's skin.
The office door was shut loudly and Kevin was infuriated but he keep this anger in. He looked at the ground while walking to his classroom.
"One last chance and that's it?! I really have to be more careful from now on if I don't want to explain to my future coach why I had to take a break from the team."
This was the worst week he ever had and it all was because of one person. Edd.
"Never imagined love would be this difficult." Kevin sighed as he walked into the classroom he saw a worried looking Edd raising his hand to greet him. Kevin waved him back with loving but also a little sad smile. Then he proceeded to walk to his seat and rested his head on the table embracing it with his arms.
Edd was never the type to pass notes during class but this time he just couldn't help it. He had to know what happened and he was to impatient to wait for their last class to end. So he wrote: "Dear Kevin, I do apologize for causing you trouble again. Did the principal punish you? If so I have to clear my conscience by clarifying the misunderstanding. Yours sincerely Double Dee" on a note and cut it out in a perfect rectangle.
After folding it neatly he wrote Kevin on it. Edd waited for the teacher to turn their attention to the blackboard again to pass the note to Kevin but unfortunately his aim was a little off and it landed on Nat's side of the table. Kevin didn't realize that something landed and Nat naturally was way to curious to just give the note to Kevin and opened it. After reading Nat pocked Kevin who wasn't very fond of the disturbance till Nat handed him the note. He opened it hectically but read the note itself carefully. Then he grabbed a pen and a piece of paper to write back:
