i shouldn't think of grandparents raising their grandkids
cause they are the crackheads on the street
when i hear the word "black" i should think of people wearing dashikis for our culture
i shouldn't think of culture appropriation
because my culture is not a trend
i shouldn't think of
black men being killed by police
i shouldn't think of our people on welfare
i shouldn't think of our people enslaved in Libya
cause we are people right?

people standing up for our civil rights
racial equality in the job force
