Phil's POV
I've noticed Dan's mood change, it's like he's never happy, and I know it's my fault, but he can't just expect me to suddenly fall in love with him!
Well maybe I am a tiny bit already but i'm also a tiny bit scared of us breaking up in the near future and me losing my boyfriend and best friend. I'm too scared to risk that, so i'm trying to ignore that tiny feeling.
So to get his mind of things I decided that we should go bowling, because I hate it since I always lose and he loves it since he always wins.
After a few games of me losing like usual, Dan smiled proudly at m as I pouted, sipping at my cup of coke he bought for me at McDonalds.
"You know, it's not that hard." He says softly.
"Yes it is, I hate bowling!"
Dan's POV
"Then why did you suggest it you numpty?!" I chuckle.
"Because you love it and you seem sad so I thought...to make up for it?"
My cheeks feel flushed as I take a step towards him, sitting down onto the wooden floor. He looks at me weirdly.
"Um Dan what are you-"
"It's adorable that you did that for me, so i'm just letting it sink in." I mumble quietly, closing my eyes.
Phil's POV
"I-It's really not that big of a deal." I mutter shyly.
"Yes it is! Anyway, do you want me to teach you how to play better? Then you'll like bowling more right?"
"I guess...".
"Great! Okay firstly your feet positon." He instructs, moving me infront of our the bowling alley and handing me a bowling ball.
"What's wrong with it?!" I protest.
"Because your feet are going in different directions, you need a firm grip otherwise I could easily knock you over like this." I push Phil's shoulders back using hardly any effort or force sending him tumbling.backwards.
"Dan!" He groans.
"Sorry." I grin. "But when you roll the ball your putting all of your strength into it, so you need to have a steady balance, your balance is too week mate."
He nods, biting his lip as he changes his footing to a more steady one.
"That's better, now your not swinging the bowling ball right. See your arm goes too outwards."
I take a step towards him, wrapping my arms around his and changing their postion slightly.
Phil's POV
I felt myself blushing madly as Dan basically had his arm around me despite unimtentionally meaning for it to mean anything.
"O-Okay, anything e-else?" I ask, trying to cover up my blush with my fringe.
"Focus on your aim."
I nod, biting my lip as I roll the ball. It suprisingly knocks down most of the pins, leaving only a few which is brilliant for me since I hardly knock down any at all.
Dan cheers happily, clapping his hands. I turn around and smile.
"I'm a genius." He grins, enveloping me into a friendly hug.
I soften into the hug, feeling my heart thumping out of my chest as my cheeks flush more. Why am I acting so different?
Every little touch he gives me makes me have a nervous and guilty feeling mixed with some sort of butterflies. What is happening?
"So do you like bowling a little more?" He asks.
"Yes, thanks to you." I smile, giggling as his cheeks turn red slightly in shyness.
"I-I didn't d-do much..." He trails off.
"Of course you did, now shall we continue our competitive game now that I have leveled up?" I smirk.
Dan nods happily. "Your on!"
