Happiest Day:Dressed in Black and White

I got down to one knee in our house,"Elizabeth,will you make me the happiest man alive,and marry me?",I ask her as I opened the ring box,to reveal a ring with a big ruby in the center surrounded by small diamonds.Her big red eyes welled up with tears as she fell to her knees and responded with,"Yes,a billion times yes,Yesyesyesyesyesyes!!",she said as she threw her arms around me and kissed me several times as we both stared happy crying.I slipped the ring onto her finger as she looked up at me and said,"Well,I guess we're engaged","Yeah,I guess we are",we said to each other.The happiest day of my life just happened,me and Ruby are engaged.

Soooo,after weeks of planning the wedding,sending invites to guests,ordering the flowers,food,chairs,finding a justice of the peace and finding my best man and her maid of honor,the day had finally come,my mother walked me down the aisle,"I'm so proud of you Zen,I thought this would never happen,but here we are",she said with tears in her eyes."Mom,please don't cry,it's fine",I said as I kissed her cheek and went to the alter.After my groomsmen and her bridesmaids walked down,it was her turn to come.The pianist started playing,"Here Comes the Bride",as I saw Ruby and her dad start to walk down the aisle.This was the first time I ever saw her in her dress,and,she looked absolutely amazing.As she got closer to the alter,her and her dad exchanged words,as she stepped up to the alter with me."Dearly beloved,we are gathered here today to join Zen Kurasaki and Elizabeth Takeba in holy matrimony.Before we be begin,should any one object to these two being married,speak now or forever hold your peace".No one said anything so he continued,"You may speak your vows",he said as he gestured towards me."Ruby,when I first met you..you were a scared and frightened little girl,being bullied by kids,and nervous to be around anyone,but when I look at you know,I see the love of my life,the woman I want to spend my life with.I love you Ruby","You know,when I possessed you,I thought you would never be able to function as a normal person,but here you are",Raphael said in my head."Zen,when I first met you,I only hung out with you because when I was with you no one would pick on me,but the more we hung out the more I saw the real you,the one who cared so much about me and loved me with all of his heart,and that's when I fell head over heels for you,I love you Zen,I want to spend the rest of my life with you.",Ruby said with tears forming in her eyes."Well then,by the power invested in me by the country of Japan,I now pronounce you husband and wife.You may now kiss the bride".And so I did,very intensely,I probably would have taken it further till I remembered there are people watching us.
