The girl was dying, and she knew it.
Agonising pain shot through her body, so excruciating that it was as if flesh and bone were being ripped apart.
She could feel pain everywhere, as blotches of white were starting to emerge from her dazed eyesight.
Her vision blurred.
She could hear distant voices from above, telling her to stay calm, and a flash of red appeared.
Warm blood was trickling down her cheek.
She could feel herself getting farther and farther away from reality, with her senses slowly dimming away.
She collapsed.
