Jonah's pov

Me and Daniel were playing basketball ball in the backyard until it bounced over the fence and over to the neighbours house.

Daniel pulled out his phone and went on Insta story "We have seemed to have lost the ball. It bounced over this fence. Hey neighbours!" He shouted and then ended the story

I laughed and tried to look over the fence to see where it was. Right in the middle of their backyard.

"Bro we've gotta go get it" I said and started walking back inside. "Ok let's go then" Daniel said and walked behind me

I knocked on the door and it opened a few seconds later to a beautiful girl. She looked around my age.

Y/n's pov

I heard a knock on the door so I got up from my couch to get it. I opened it up to see 2 teenage boys standing there. One had very noticeable blue eyes but the other one had really caught my attention. He was tall with brown hair and brownish-blue eyes.

"Hey" I smiled at them. The tall one smiled back as the other one with the blue eyes started talking. "Um we were playing basketball and the ball bounced over the fence and into your backyard" he said shyly

"And What would you like me to do about that?" I asked a smile still plastered on my face. The tall one giggled as the blue eyed one punched him making me laugh.

"It's ok. I'll go get it" I laughed and ran through the house to go get it. I was walking back to the front door as I heard them talk about something.

"Bro Shes really pretty"

"Yeah i know. I call dibs"

"Fuck you"

I waited a few seconds before I started walking back to them.

"Thank you so much" the tall one smiled and grabbed the ball from me.

"No problem. Just wondering, What're your names?" I asked, looking between them

"I'm Daniel and this is Jonah" Daniel said and smiled. "Well, nice to meet you Jonah and Daniel. I'm Y/n, also if one of you are gonna call dibs why don't you ask me out first?" I laughed

Jonah flushed a deep red as Daniel tried not to laugh. "You heard that?" Daniel laughed as he leaned on Jonah from laughing to much.

"Ok then. Would you like to go out with me?" Jonah asked still blushing.

"I'd love to" I smiled as he smiled as well

"Great. Pick you up at nine?" He asked

"Perfect" I smiled.

We talked for a few more minutes and then they said goodbye and I closed the door and then leaned against it as I processed what just happened. I was going on a date with my really hot neighbour.

Jonah's pov

She closed the door and we walked back to our house.

"Damn you just got yourself a date" Daniel teased as we walked in the house. Jack, Zach and Corbyn all came running out as they heard the word "date"

"WHAT" Jack yelled

"I asked y/n out and she said yes. I'm picking her up at nine" I said

Corbyn was obviously the only one who got it since he laughed and walked away.

"Who's Y/n?" Zach said

"Y/n is the girl next door. All three of you sit your thirsty asses down. She's mine" I said and walked out of the room
