I got dressed into my bikini and threw on one of Daniels shirts over the top. I opened my door and was hit with a wave of very loud music. I walked downstairs and saw definitely over 20 people in the house talking to each other. The boys said it would only be a few friends and nothing to big but as I pushed past people to get outside I swear the amount of people multiplied. I scanned the crowd looking for one of the boys and my eyes landed on Daniel sitting by the pool talking to some guy.

I walked over to him and tapped his shoulder. He looked up and smiled when he saw me. I sat down next to him and glared at him when I sat down. "What're you glaring at me for?" Daniel asked. "You said there was only gonna be a few friends here. Not the entire fucking neighbourhood!" I yelled over the music. "Stop worrying y/n. There's no alcohol so at least no one will be drunk" Daniel said and glanced over at me. "There's no alcohol my ass. There's about six bottles of vodka on the table inside as well as beer" I said and slapped Daniels arm. The guy Daniel was talking to shot up when he heard me say vodka. "There's vodka here!?" He yelled excitedly. He jumped up and ran inside as I glared at Daniel again. "Please just promise me you won't have any. And don't let Zach have any either. I don't wanna have to explain that to Myta" I said and looked into Daniels eyes. "I promise" Daniel responded and kissed my head. "Zach isn't here anyway, he heard we were having a party and left with jack to go downtown" He finished. Daniel knew how I felt about alcohol and big crowds. Especially when mixed together.

After a while of talking to Daniel he got up and went inside to grab a drink which he promised me not to be alcohol. I was swinging my legs in the water and a guy sat down next to me smelling of alcohol and cigarettes. "Hey pretty. You from around here?" He slurred and smiled at me. I had to resist the urge to throw up from the strong smell of alcohol in his breath. "I have a boyfriend. Get lost" I said straight-forwardly. "He doesn't have to know. Let me show you a good time" he smirked and grabbed my arm. I pulled my arm out of his grip and back handed him across the face. "Get the fuck out of my house!" I screamed at him and he clutched his cheek and walked back inside. I stood up to go inside and find Daniel but as I was walking the big crowd of people I was walking behind all got pushed back. I screamed and fell back into the pool. I can't swim.

I closed the fridge and grabbed my cup of lemonade when I heard a scream from outside. It sounded like y/n. I walked over to the door and didn't see y/n but the surface of the pool had been broken. I waited a second but no one came back up to the surface. I put it together and realised y/n had fallen into the pool and she couldn't swim. I panicked and dropped my cup not caring about the lemonade that went everywhere. I quickly pushed past the crowds of people in the backyard and got to the pool. I jumped in and tried to find y/n. The problem was I couldn't see underwater. I came back up to get a breath and saw y/n a few feet away. I went back under and grabbed y/n's arm. I found her waist and picked her up.

I got back to the surface with y/n in my arms and her eyes opened as she gasped for air. "I'm right here baby. You're ok" I said just loud enough for her to hear. She started to cry out of shock. I hugged her and kept her close as she wrapped her legs around my waist and her arms around my neck. Her breathing started to go back to normal and I kept whispering things to her to calm her down. She let out another shaky breath and I hugged her tighter. "You're ok. I'm here" I said and she put her head in my neck. I got a tighter grip of her and carried her out of the pool. I put her down on a chair and gave her a towel. "I'm gonna go find Jonah or Corbyn. You stay here and I'll be back ok?" I told her and she nodded. I went inside and found Jonah and Corbyn talking to each other. I grabbed them and pulled them somewhere a bit quieter.

"We've gotta shut down the party and get everyone out" I said and Corbyn looked at me worried. "Why? What's wrong?" Jonah asked. "Everyone's drunk, there's to many people here, we're gonna get shut down by the cops if it gets any bigger and y/n almost just fucking drowned" I said looking between them and they nodded. I went back outside to y/n who was talking to Jack and Zach. A sigh of relief left my mouth knowing she was ok and safe. Jonah grabbed a mic and hooked it up to the Bluetooth speakers in and around the house so everyone would hear. "Sorry to cut it short but everyone needs to get out before the cops come. Someone take all the alcohol as well because we don't want it. You have ten minutes before we start pushing you out" Jonah said and smiled and then turned the mic off. Everyone booed and made their way out the door some people rushing to get what was left of the vodka and beer.

I went back outside and sat down next to y/n. "When did you two get here?" I asked Zach and jack. "We got here about fifteen minutes ago. We walked down the side because we didn't want to be surrounded by drunks" Zach answered. "Oh ok. I'm gonna make sure everyone is gone. I'll be back" I said and kissed y/ns head. I checked all the rooms and surprisingly no one was making out in them and none of the beds had been touched. Everyone was out so now it was just me, y/n and the other 4. I walked back outside and saw all of them talking. Y/n saw me and smiled. I walked over, picked her up, sat back down and put her on my lap. "Good news, no ones room had anyone making out in them and the beds haven't been touched" I said and everyone sighed of relief.

We stayed outside for a while to hear y/n explain everything. She finished explaining but something caught my attention more then anything else. "A guy tried to get with you!?" I said louder then I wanted to. "Wait - what?" Zach asked, shock in his voice. "Yeah but I slapped him don't worry" she smiled and the boys laughed. "That's my girl" I smiled. I turned y/n around and kissed her. Zach and jack made gaging noises as Jonah and Corbyn covered their eyes. Y/n giggled into the kiss making me smile and quickly kiss her again before pulling away. She leaned back on my chest as jack started to talk about something.

"I love you and I'm happy you're ok" I whispered to y/n and kissed her cheek.

"I love you too and thank you for not letting me drown" she smiled

I haven't done a really long one in a while but anyway this was intense to write. And don't judge me for the title. I couldn't think of a good one
