Lunch was wonderful today! Zack had a different look on his face though. I worried me. "baby?" "yes princess?" "whats on your mind?" "oh, you can tell...well. there was a patient today that the doctors were working on that didn't seem quite right. It was a usual emergency cardiac surgery but they weren't fixing him like I see all the time, they were adding these strange fluids to his body.
I'm scared they are messing with some scary science." "hmm." is all I could really say. I heard actually heard some of the rumors similar to this in the store today. He says, " I mean, what if its something illegal and I get arrested for being associated?"
" hush sugar, you'll be just fine. But I did hear something like that in the bookstore earlier. something about serums being delivered to the hospital." I hope I didn't worry him more by saying that. "ya know what?" "what?" "take me to the hospital with you, I'm going to do some exploring." "are you sure babe? I don't want you getting hurt or into trouble." Giggling a little I remind him, " you'll be able to keep a watch on all the doctors and you can find a way to get me out of there."
In the hospital parking lot I take the small hand gun and shove it in the side of my jeans after putting on the safety. I wait till zackary is out of view so I can head for the back of the building, where there are trucks unloading crates upon crates of what I figure is the strange fluid.
I hide in a small, darkened, nook where I can get a better view of what they are doing. One man wearing a lab coat whom I assume to be one of the doctors, opens a box and pulls out a red squishy bag with the liquid in it. "animal blood?" why would they have animal blood? Are they testing it in humans?
Either way thats got to be illegal. I snap a few pictures of the whole situation and send them to zack.
Suddenly I see a small head turn in my direction, so I duck out of the place and rush back to car where I find zack waiting in worry to make sure I'm alright.
"babe, what is that? did you see?" I give him a shocked look, " omg, its animal blood." "and they are putting that in people?" "I'm afraid so zack".
