Blinded Love?

Chapter 7- Pov. Zack

Finding out what the doctor had been doing was devastating. I had known the doctor since childhood and I never thought he would be ok with something like this.

 I also wondered how long it had been going on before now. And why I had only just noticed something was off. 

Animal blood? What could you accomplish with that? I guess experimenting with blood transfusions or something.....no....we don't really have a lack of blood to need those kinds of tests done. 

"Love?" she lays on my shoulder in the car at the moment, and I realize she has fallen asleep. "Oh sweetheart, you must have been exhausted." we ride back to the book store with only the noises of the car and Angel's soft breathing on my shoulder which I didn't mind at all. 

 I loved her and that's all that mattered, and we would figure a way out of this mess together.

Driving up the store I hate to wake her but decide that its impossible to avoid. "Angel......baby...?"  no answer. "angel.....wake up" still no answer "sweetie your scaring me." I check her pulse, which to my relief is still there but Is rather faint. I rush her to the hospital with me and check her into a room to have her examined immediately. 

I go and see Dr.stein to check up on the situation in secret, but he's not in his office at the moment. I go and check the room the man was previously having the operation done. Only the man's body was there splattered with blood where it looked like It was still in mid surgery. 

why would he be left here like that and he doesn't look alive. 

As I enter the room and go closer to the life in question on the table. The blood was still fresh, there was also no smell to it. Must be the animal blood.


I check his pulse to be sure. yes. nothing. They killed him. They actuallly went as far as to kill. I've got to get back to angel. Rushing down the hall ways seemed to take forever.

Once I got there the room was dead silent. "Sweetheart?" I went in and turned on the lights and she wasn't there. "Angel!, oh god why did I leave her alone!" I rushed down every hall way I knew, looking for her. Any glimpse of her I hoped for with each doorway.

I went to Dr.Stein and asked him. "doctor have you seen a patient by the name of Angel Rose Wolford?" "maybe, why?" "because thats my girl stein, if I find that anything has happened to her there will be hell to pay."
