Gods, I think I just coughed up a lung... Maybe I should talk to my doctor about this. I've been coughing for awhile now, but just recently it's been getting really bad and I've been getting dizzy spells. Thank Apollo that Warren hasn't noticed... But he can go fuck himself for letting Romeo see. Seriously dude, you're supposed to make me seem like I'm immune to getting sick.

But, at the very least, I think I can get through an afternoon without an issue. I'm just making my way down to Mr School King's house now so that we can go see Vipercane (Some stupid action movie about snakes in a hurricane...). Hopefully it's not as bad as I've heard, because if it is, I'm forcing Romeo to pay me back for my ticket. And any snacks I buy. And anything I buy at all.

I knocked on the door and waited, expecting Romeo to open up, but his dad greeting me instead, seeming relaxed as always. "Hey there, Julian!"

"Hello, sir." I responded politely (I try to have a good attitude with adults).

He turned around and leaned into the house. "Romeo! Julian is here for you!"

"I'll be right there, thanks dad!" I heard the taller boy shout from his room.

A moment later, he appeared. He was wearing a plain gray t-shirt and jeans, his hair the usual wild style he had been working recently. He had black casual boots on, and I couldn't help but think they looked hot on him (Julian, didn't you get over that stupid crush?).

"Hey buddy!" Romeo called. "How you doing?"

"Umm... Good, yeah I'm good." (Over it. Over it. Over it. Over it.)

His dad grabbed both of us on the shoulders. "Have fun you two. And Julian, you're the responsible one, keep Romeo out of trouble for me."

"I don't get in trouble." Romeo argued with a frown.

"But I am responsible, so I'll make sure that we go another day without incident." I said with a smirk.

His dad smiled at me brightly. "Good man! I'll see you guys later then, have fun out there."

I ran over to Romeo's car and opened up the passenger side, hopping in and waiting for a ride. "Come on, slow poke!"

King Romulus got in and started the engine, driving away from his house and leaving the neighborhood.

"So, where are you taking me for lunch? I'm feeling like meat."

"Well, there's a place right by the theater that we could go to. They've got burgers and other meat based foods." Romeo laughed.

"Sounds wonderful." I said, him glancing at me for a moment. "What? Do I have something on my face?"

"No, nothing on your face." He muttered, turning back to the road. Weirdo.

We made our way to a small building with a collection of tables in front of it. Romeo parked the car in a lot next door and made his way to my side, opening the door for me.

"Ok, what's going on? Are you being nice as a way to say sorry for abandoning me, or is it because you feel bad because you're going to knock me unconscious and harvest my organs?"

"I'm not being any nicer than usually." Romeo said, just before his pants burst into flames.

I rolled my eyes. "Dude, you're not very convincing."

"Just come on." He said, closing the car door and walking me to the building. "This place is good."

It was, in fact, quite good.

As we walked out, a thought occurred to me. I will never need to eat again with how full I am.

"So." Romeo prompted. "How was it?"

"Meh."

He raised a brow. "What do you mean meh? You didn't like it?! That's ridiculous, this place is gr~"

"I'm messing with you, you idiot." I laughed. "It was wonderful, I'm glad you took me."

Romeo smiled brightly (Stop that, stop! Stop! Stop! Stop! No! Bad, no!) and threw his arm over my shoulder, guiding me to his car again (Fuck).

"I'm glad you enjoyed it." He said as he opened the door for me.

I sat down and release a breath as Romeo closed the door and started walking to his side. "I hate this guy..." I muttered.

He drove us to the movies, bought two tickets (Not gonna complain about free stuff), and got us drinks before we walked into the actual theater room.

When I sat down, Romeo moved the armrest up so that there wasn't anything between us.

"What are you doing?" I asked.

He didn't look at me when he answered, instead watching the screen. "Watching Vipercane."

The previews for other bad movies went across the screen, and I was already getting tired. I didn't even realize that I was leaning against him until he put his arm around me to steady me.

"Are you ok?" He asked gently, the smile evident on his face.

I nodded. "Yup, just a little tired. Don't move, you make a good mattress."

"Hey, at least buy me dinner first." The soccer player laughed.

"What? No, you'd be buying dinner." I remarked. "What do you think I am, made of money?"

"Then what do I get?" He asked, his expression unreadable.

Thinking for a moment, I came up with the best thing to say to your straight friend that wants something from you.
"How about a kiss for the daring prince?" I asked in a mocking English accent.

Romeo laughed it off and turned to the movie again, wearing yet another expression I couldn't read (What the Hell, I can't read thoughts, buddy).

While we sat there, his eyes focused on the film, I couldn't help but think about how great of a guy Romeo was... And I couldn't help but feel that I was betraying Warren at this very moment.
