As I sit down, he kisses my hand and smiles as he walks back to the corner. I wipe my hand on my dress and the girls begin bombarding me with questions.

"What did you guys talk about?" Rachel asks with envy and a slight glare.

"Nothing much. I told him a little about my family." I lie.

Ashley snorts. "That should be interesting."

I glare. "At least my life is interesting. I don't get everything handed to me on a silver platter. So yeah, it was pretty interesting. He wasn't bored to death like he would be if he was listening to your life."

Ashley stands up, hands on her hips. "What did you say to me?"

I stand up and walk to the side of the table, meeting her halfway. "Let me clarify it. You are a stuck up, spoiled brat. Did you get it this time?" I give a fake smile.

"Yeah? Well at least I'm not a low-life freak." She snarls.

"Oh really, are you trying to convince me that, or yourself?"

She takes a step forward and shoves me backwards. I stumble, almost falling over. I stand there, balling my fists as she slowly walks away. She stops mid stride and turns her head. "Gonna fight back? Didn't think so. You're too scared." She makes chicken sounds as she begins walking back to her seat.

I take off my heels, walk behind her, and shove her forward. She holds on to the table to keep from falling to the ground.

She spins around on her heels and glares at me. She comes at me with a balled fist. I put my hand in front of me and grab her fist before it hits me. I begin twisting her arm sideways as she screams. I release my hold on her arm as Prince William looks over at us. She pushes me and I hit the table, dishes clattering and drinks swishing in their cups.

Prince William walks over and takes my hand, helping me to regain my balance. "What in heaven's name is going on here?"

I put my hand on my back where there was a bruise forming and she grabs her arm, cradling it to her chest. She points at me in an accusing manner. "She called me a stuck up, spoiled brat that has everything handed to me on a silver platter. Then she shoved me and twisted my arm!"

"Says the girl who called me a low-life freak and shoved me backwards, tried to punch me, and pushed me into the table."

He pulls me closer to him. "Are you alright Evelyn?" I nod. "Now ladies, no need to fight over me."

I jerk my arm away and slam my shoulder into his as I walk out the door.

I hear his footsteps as he follows after me. "Evelyn!" I stop and allow him to catch up with me before starting again, him beside me. "Are you sure you're alright?"

I nod. "I'm fine. But your table probably left a bruise."

"I'm sorry about Ashley. If you want, I can send her home for physically harming you for trying to ruin your chance with me."

I stop and turn to face him abruptly. "Why is it that you always make everything about you? We weren't fighting over you, we were fighting because she was jealous and had to point out the fact that I'm not perfect. Well I'm sorry, that's just how I am. Imperfect in every way possible. I don't need your pity and I don't need you to get in the middle of things. I can handle myself." I storm, if you call it storming when you have to lift up both sides of your dress just so you can walk, up the stairs and into my room sighing and plopping down on my bed.

A bewildered Lynda walks over to me. "You're early. Did everything go okay?"

"I got pushed into the breakfast table, shoved, and a girl tried to punch me. Yeah everything was fine."

"Oh you poor dear. Lets get you out of that dress."

I sigh. "Thank you, I would really appreciate it." She unlaces it and hands me a sun dress. I put it on, grateful for the comfortableness. It was teal with purple, green, and pink flowers on it. I sit on the bed and lie down. Although the day had just started, I was worn out from today and no sleep. I quickly doze off.

I am shaken awake by a frightful Lynda. "Evelyn, you must get up, or you'll miss the World News."

I groan but obey sit up. I get out of the bed and she rushes me down the stairs to the main room where all the girls sat waiting for the news to play. They all glance at me before turning back to the TV, well all of them except for Ashley and Scarlett. Ashley glares daggers at me and Scarlett pats the empty seat next to her.

I sit next to Scarlett and she squeals. "Prince William is going to tell Luke his first impressions about us!" She smiles wide.

"He will definitely say great things about you."

"I don't know, he was having a great time with you and with the whole catching you and holding hands thing, I can't compete. He even kissed your hand and saved you from Ashley."

"Oh please, I don't really care if he likes me or not and once he sees I don't care for him at all, he will pick you."

She punches my shoulder. "Whatever you say." She says and laughs.

The World News theme song plays and Luke Freemont sits in a chair across from Prince William, holding a microphone. "Ladies and gentlemen, what you have been longing for, the Prince's first impressions on the girls. He has met all 25 ladies and will tell us all what he thinks of each of them. And best of all, who has stolen his attention." Everyone claps, even the girls in the room, and Luke turns to Prince William. "So Prince William, the ladies. What do you think of them?"

He smiles. "Well, they all seem very wonderful but there is only one who really stands out to me."

Luke raises an eyebrow. "Oh really, who would that be?"

Prince William chuckles and all the girls begin fanning themselves. "Wouldn't you like it to be a secret until the very end?"

Luke looks at the crowd. "Well ladies and gentlemen, wouldn't you like to know now?"

The crowd begins chanting. "Tell us! Tell us! Tell us!"

Luke looks back to Prince William. "You heard the people, they want to know!"

He smiles into the camera and sighs. "Okay, okay. If you must know." He fiddles with his hands as several seconds go by. The crowd holds their breath and he finally speaks. "I don't know if she feels the same, in fact, I'm almost positive she doesn't, but she really amazes me. She is smart, funny, beautiful but bitter in a way that attracts me. She is different than all the other girls and she makes me feel...different than usual."

Luke raises his eyebrows repeatedly. Up, down, up, down. "Who is this mystery girl you seem to be falling head over heels for?"

I roll my eyes. "Arrogant." I mumble under my breath. 'He knows every single one of these girls is madly in love with him, except for me. Oh god, please no.'

Prince William sucks in a deep breath before letting it out and biting his lip. "Evelyn Edmondosa, she is your mystery girl."
