April came around faster than (y/n) could finish 5 boxes of ice cream. Besides that, April meant it was finally time for (y/n) to go through her very first day at U.A., so when her extremely obnoxious alarm rang, she quite literally fell off her bed.

"WHO, WHAT, WHERE, WHEN, WHY... and HOW?!" she screeched after hitting the floor. When she realized it was just her alarm, she grabbed the clock, and threw it across the room. There was a moment of peace before it started beeping again, this time louder. (y/n) let out an agitated scream before staggering towards her alarm. The young girl picked up the alarm, glaring at it, before finally turning it off. She looked at the wire dangling from her clock and gazed at it thoroughly confused. How was it ringing if it wasn't plugged in?? Were there batteries too?? (y/n) ran a hand through her tangled hair, before setting her alarm clock back on her nightstand (and plugging it in). She made her way to her washroom while grumbling over how inconvenient mornings were.

Once she finished her morning routine of brushing her teeth, using the washroom, and having a concert in the shower, she emerged from the washroom ready in her uniform, except for the tie.

Let's face it. Who knows how to tie a tie?

(y/n) left the tie on her bed and quickly slipped on some gray socks (no specific length, it's your choice). She ran a comb through her hair, then slung on her backpack and picked up her tie.

"Alright. U.A. Here I come... After I tie this tie." (y/n) grumbled as she turned off the lights in her room.

(y/n) slid down the staircases' rails and landed on the wooden floor with ease. She left her backpack near the front and made her way into the kitchen. She grabbed a bowl of cereal, and poured in some milk. She plopped on a chair, but when she went to set her feet on the floor, it touched... a person?

"OH MY G-" (y/n) scrambled back knocking her chair over. Aizawa groaned from underneath the table.

"What are you doing down there?!"

"The table's great shade."

"You do realize you have a room???"

"After 'hero-ing' at night-"

"That's not a word"

"It is now"

"Thank god you're not an English or Japanese teacher"

"LET ME FINISH MY STORY!"

"OK SORRY!"

"Anyways, after working all night, you just come home, and find you don't have the energy to climb up a series of stairs, so you find a comfortable spot on the first floor."

"And you chose... to sleep under a table."

"Yes."

"Why are we related?"

"Just eat your cereal" Aizawa grumbled as he wiggled away from the table. (y/n) picked up the chair sighing. She went back to eating pretending she did not just witness her father sleeping under a table.

"By the way, where's your tie?" Aizawa asked as he actually stood up to prepare a cup of coffee for himself.

"I don't know how to tie a tie..." (y/n) answered sheepishly.

"SO, you're telling me... that with your amazing quirk, you can't figure out how to tie a simple tie."

"... are you saying I should just use my quirk"

"We should put you back in preschool." Aizawa muttered. (y/n) rolled her eyes and draped the fabric around her neck. She pointed her index finger at her tie.
