"...hello?"
(y/n) felt someone poking her arm.
"Are you... okay?" the voice spoke. (y/n) slowly opened her eyes groaning. The person stopped poking her.
"What time is it..." (y/n) mumbled as she sat up rubbing her eyes.
"It's 8 o'clock..." the voice spoke.
"8? Already?? But I swear it was just 4..." (y/n) grumbled as she looked around. She was still in front of her house.
"Are you okay miss?" the voice said again.
"Miss-?" (y/n) finally looked towards the voice and met the curious blue eyes of a young child.
"Oh... Yes... I'm fine. I just... decided to take a nap..."
"Outside?"
"Yes."
"On the cold pavement?"
"Yes."
"Oh... I see"
(y/n) stood up, and brushed herself off.
"What are you doing out here by yourself? It's getting late for a young child like yourself."
"Oh... I was just walking around a little bit before I went home..."
"Your parents must be worried."
"My parents aren't in town."
"I'm going to give you some advice. Never tell a stranger that you're parents aren't home. It's the worst thing you could possibly do." (y/n) mumbled as she offered her hand to the young girl.
"Oh... sorry..." the young girl mumbled as she grabbed (y/n)'s hand. (y/n) pulled the young girl up onto her feet.
"Don't apologize. You're just lucky you woke up a kind and generous soul."
"I did?"
"....Yes."
"Now, you should probably get home. Whoever's waiting for you might be worried."
"All my older brother does is play games."
"Even so, you should try and get home as early as possible. There aren't always nice people around on the streets." (y/n) said softly. The young girl nodded, and tucked a strand of her blonde hair behind her ear.
"Since there aren't many nice people on the streets, can you walk with me home?" she asked tugging on (y/n)'s arm.
"How do you know I'm a nice person?" (y/n) asked rising an eyebrow.
"'Cause you're funny!" The girl exclaimed.
"bEING FUNNY HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH BEING NICE-" (y/n) began but saw the girl's puppy-like eyes.
"Ugh fine."
"YAY!"
"Where do you even live?"
"Not that far away!"
(y/n) grabbed her bike, and began walking with the young girl. The young girl was blabbering enthusiastically about something, but (y/n) was pretty distracted. She had so many questions. For starters, was Shinoshi really a villain? Why did he become one? Plus, who was the person in the cloak? What was their quirk?
"... And that's why I never ate corn dogs ever again!" the young girl exclaimed.
"...corn dogs?" (y/n) said confused.
