Hi readers,
I'm back with a new update! I'm so happy people read my story!I know it took longer than expected but I had got myself conflicted between the guys so the writing might not be great
Quote of the Chapter:
"Growing up, I learned life's important lessons at the dinner table" - Chef John Besh
----------------------------------------------
Sang
I knocked on the door.
A freakishly tall guy opened the door. He was handsome, I could give you that but if I was somewhere like an alleyway or warehouse alone in the night with no lights, I would be terrified and would have already peed my pants.
He had deep black hair and dark brown eyes. He was tall, taller and broader than North. He looked like he was from a Mediterranean country maybe Greece? He also reminded me of Superman, yes I like super heroes especially the Marvel universe.
"Are you lost?" he asked me while looking down at me.
"No. I'm Sang your new neighbour and I was invited for dinner" I squeaked with all my courage just to say that to him.
"Hey Silas! Who's at the door?!" a familiar voice shouted.
It was Luke.
He came to the door and leaned on the door frame, where me and Silas stood. He looked at us with his usual mischievous glint in his chocolate brown eyes, he instantly knew the situation.
"Silas, this is Sang our new neighbour in 112. Sang this is Silas and he lives in 113" he explained and introduced us to each other for us.
"Hello" I waved my hand to him.
"Hi" he said back to me.
"What did you make Sang!" Luke asks me, eyeing the cake in my hands.
"Apple and chocolate layer cake" I showed him the cake I baked.
"Sounds delicious! I can't wait for dessert" he took the cake from me and walked back into the apartment
"Come on in Sang!" he called, as he walked into the apartment.
I walked into the apartment with Silas behind me.
The apartment was about 3 or 4 times the size of mine. The walls were white with beautiful murals drawn on the walls along with pictures and paintings hanging on the wall. The apartment had various smells that somehow smells great together, coffee, chocolate, ocean, moss and some other smells I can't verify but for some reason I smell some gun powder.
But it's a good thing that I'm trained in karate and I also have a dagger in the sole of my left shoe. In case I might really have to fight but I doubt my neighbours are some evil killers that are part of some gang or mafia since Dr.Roberts would have checked on my neighbours or gave me a warning about them.
We walked into the living room, which was twice the size of mine. It was beautifully decorated with a homey feel to the whole place. There was a huge dark blue sofa, big enough to fit around 6 people along with 4 matching sofa chairs, there was also 4 beanbags each one a different colour.
In the living room there was Corey sitting on the sofa doing something on his laptop beside him was another guy with glasses reading 'Hercule Poirot - The Affairs at Styles', which is one of my all time favourite books. There's also a guy on an orange beanbag near the window and he's drawing something on his sketchbook. And there's 2 guys playing a video game in front of the huge tv.
