By the time we started to feel total jet lag, we had several pranks planned out. We were about to pull one off, depending if the boys were counting sheep in their dreams. Our first plan was simple: Get into the boys' room, fill a few cups with water, flip them over in front of their door (which opened to the inside), take all of their towels from their room, and retreat.

Sneaking into the boys' room was easy; it was just a matter of not crawling where the air shaft looked as if it might creak or break under me, Bex, and Macey's weight. It was like back at the Academy, but easier. There were no security systems or booby traps (that we knew of). The hardest part was unscrewing the air vent from the inside (which really wasn't that hard).

Macey dropped down from the vent first into the main room. She peeked at the sleeping boys.

"All clear?" I asked, my voice barely above a whisper.

She nodded and I jumped down into the worn carpet, Bex following me. "Let's get down to business," she said, sounding like she enjoyed this a little too much.

I found the cups, a few pieces of paper, and gave Macey the job of taking their towels and took Bex with me into the bathroom. We filled the cups, making sure the rims were wet. The whole time Bex had an evil grin on her face, probably imagining the major predicament the boys would find themselves in when they woke up.

Walking out of the tiny bathroom, we saw Macey behind a giant pile of towels and clothes. "Why'd you take their clothes?" I inquired.

"We don't want them to have anything to clean the mess up with, do we?," she said with fake innocence. "On second thought, maybe we should also take the sheets of their bed."

"Won't they notice, even in their sleep?" Bex asked.

"Look at them. It's way too hot to sleep even with a sheet on. So let's strip the beds," Macey said, starting for the closest bed and starts to take the covers off. Bex and I followed her lead.

"All done?" I asked.

"Not quite," Bex told me, and peeled off a sticker on the room's phone. "We wouldn't want them to be able to call room service, would we?"

"Smart thinking," I replied, a smirk on my face. I looked up at the tiny air shaft. "Since we're clearly not going to be able to haul this pile through that tiny thing, the two of you will need to carry the stuff to our room and I'll finish up the rest."

Macey and Bex gather the pile into their arms. "Mission success," Bex half joked, and they slipped out the door into the dark hall.

I placed the papers over the mouths of the cups and start to turn them upside down in front of the door. Someone moaned in their sleep and turned over.

Did they hear me? Nothing happened.

I continued my work until my job was done and slipped back into our room. "Mission complete! Let the fun begin!"

Macey pulled out a bag of M&M's from her bag. "Let's talk." We gathered in a circle on the floor.

Bex grabbed a handful of the colorful candy from the bag. "About what?" she asked, tossing the chocolate up and catching them in her mouth.

"I don't know," Macey shrugged. "About anything. Boys, work, random stuff."

Liz was trying to imitate Bex's tossing and catching abilities but ended up hitting herself in the eye with a M&M. She gave up and looked at us, blushing. "I guess I have something."

Macey gave a subtle nod, urging her to go on.

"Jonas kissed me," Liz let out with a giggle.

"Nerd love is in the air," Bex sighed as I smiled, remembering my first kiss.

"What about you, Bex?" Macey questioned. "I saw Mr. Hotshot staring at you with those deep brown eyes."

Bex laughed and waved the question off. "Grant and I are just friends, Mace."

I winked. "You sure? He seemed to like to cuddle on the plane."

She gave me a thumbs up. "He's just a cuddler." Bex folded her arms and glanced at me, trying to change the topic.

I racked my brain for something to keep the conversation rolling. "So, Macey, how did you get Preston into government work with his dad being in the Circle and all?" I tossed a few M&M's into my mouth.

She looked at me as if I didn't know the truth about our sisterhood. "Ever heard of hacking and sweet talk, darling? That's what everyone does these days."

I stared at her quizzically. "You, hacking? Since when?"

Macey glanced at Liz and smirked. Liz blushed for the again. "I have connections."

Bex yawned. "I'm getting tired. I'm going to bed," she sleepily said. "Besides, I want to be wide awake when the boys figure out what we did to them."

"I guess we'll get some sleep too," I said. "Goodnight, Gallagher Girls. We'll be at the mercy of the boys tomorrow morning."
