Chapter Desc.- Ice skating, snowball fights, and a fairly awkward Meta Knight.

"Marth! Wake up!" I felt like a kid all over again. Through the window, the world outside shimmered white in the pale morning, leaving me with a giddy feeling. Marth's eyes fluttered open, painted with annoyance. "What, Ike? It's a day off. Let me get some- Woah..." For a moment, Marth was hard to read as he stared out on the wintery wonderland before us. Overnight, a snowstorm had come, wrapping the world around us in glittering white powder. Then, with a mischievous grin, he looked towards Meta Knight, then back at me. "He's never felt snow, you know that right?"

"Marth, what are you implying?"

"We could throw him into the snow. Imagine the reaction we'd get!" At first, I felt apprehensive. Then I thought of the reaction he would give, and almost burst out snickering, which would ruin our stealth. It only took one of us to lift the small warrior, and as we walked out onto the deck, he was fast asleep, still curled in his cape. As soon as I opened the door, a cold blast of air hit me like a train. Nevertheless, I kept going, trying to contain my giggling. When we got to the banister, Marth stared at me. "You ready?"

"I was born ready." Then, In one fluid motion, Marth threw him off the deck. A stream of curses that probably shouldn't be in here was all we heard, and then POFF! He completely disappeared into the snow below us. All that remained when we looked down was a circular hole. "How deep is it?"

"Much deeper than his height." That was it, we couldn't contain our giggles anymore. We burst into joyous laughter, as this was the first time we had ever successfully pranked Meta. Don't get me wrong, we had tried numerous times before, with many things. Yet, as stealthy as we were, he almost always seemed to catch us at the last moment. When we had gotten down into the yard, all we could see of him was the tips of his wings poking through the snow, and a corner of one of his feet. "So how do you feel right now?" I asked, trying to contain my laughter in front of him. "Cold and miserable, thank you very much." By now, Marth was in tears. "Alright, hold on a minute. I'll get you out of there. That was priceless!" I grabbed the tips of his wings and was met by a sharp objection. "Hey! Those are sensitive, you know!"

"Sorry, I'll be gentle, I promise." Not being gentle at all, I yanked him out of the snow. His mask was crooked on his face as he lighted onto the snow, adjusting it. Strangely enough, he could stand on top of the layer of snow, but sank right through it when we threw him down.  He rolled his shoulders, then folded his wings under his cape and wrapped the fabric around his body. "That was not gentle."

"I know." That got an exasperated groan out of him. Through another fit of laughter, I noticed Princess Peach walking over in a white gown. We got onto the path and waved to the smiling princess, Meta curled in Marth's arms. "Hey Marth! And Ike! How are you two? You must be dreadfully cold out here in just your clothes." She didn't seem to notice the shivering Knight that Marth held, which was probably to Meta's relief. For whatever reason, he hated being held around others, even if he was in dire need. "No, princess. We're okay." Marth snickered slightly while saying this. Then, the princess of the Mushroom Kingdom noticed Meta, and giggled. "What did you two do to him?"

"Huh? What do you mean?"

"Don't play dumb, Ike. I know you two did something hilarious!" Meta gave her a glare that could cut diamond, but she didn't seem to pay any mind to him. "Alright, fine. We threw him off the balcony and into a snow bank."

"Oh my gosh you two! How stuck was he?"

"We could barely see him!" Meta was probably plotting a murder under his breath at that point. "Anyway, we should be getting inside for now. He's probably really cold."
