The adrenaline is finally wearing off as we take a bow and start to leave the stage. My shoulder still has a tingling sensation from where Dallon's fingers had been. My chest is dripping with sweat. "Great show guys!" I praise as we step into the dressing room.
"I thought you weren't going to make that second back-flip Bren." Sarah laughs with a slight smile on her face.
"I'm glad you're here." I smile as I kiss her forehead.
"It's my last night with you. I'm going to miss you so much!"
I put my hand on her shoulder lovingly, "Sarah, we'll be in Paris soon, but I'll miss you to pieces until then."
"Well I don't want to miss my flight." She stands up and I kiss her for a while. I hug her tight and she hugs me back.
"I love you," I whisper in her ear.
"I love you too Brendon." She smiles at me and lets me go, walking past Dallon who was sitting on the couch with a can of Dr. Pepper. "See you in Paris, Dallon." He lifts up the can to cheers her.
"See you, Sarah." She leaves and I go to pull a beer out of the fridge.
"Dal, what time do we have to be up tomorrow?" I ask wiped out.
"Five a.m." I slouch down onto the couch next to him and sigh.
"God, I'm so tired," I yawn and he puts his arm around me, his shirt still sweaty from the show. I rest my head on his shoulder and force myself to stay awake. "We should get to the bus before I fall asleep on the couch."
Dallon laughs and smiles at me. "Alright let's go." He throws his can in the trash and we leave the dressing room. As we walk down the hall, Dallon slips his hand into mine and I smile at him. "It's so nice not having to be all secretive among everyone about Dallon and I, unlike with Ryan..." I shake the thought from my head immediately. "Life is just so much easier, but I miss him..." I realize Dallon is talking to me and snap out of it.
"...change first?"
"Sorry what was that, Dal?"
"Hah, I asked if you wanted to change first. You should just go to bed now." He smiles.
"I think I'm going to," I yawn. I shove the thought of Ryan out of my mind and kiss Dallon on the cheek. "Night," I yawn again and smile.
"Goodnight Brendon." He smiles back as we walk into the bus.
